MOBILE BAY REAL PRODUCERS

Hosts Final Quarterly Social Of The Year At Topgolf

On September 25, Mobile Bay Real Producers hosted its final Quarterly Social Event of the year, bringing together top realtors and valued advertising partners for an evening of connection and celebration. Despite the weather, we had a fantastic turnout, and the energy in the room was undeniable. While some attendees enjoyed taking a few swings on the golf bays, everyone joined in the fun with plenty of great food, beverages, and lively networking. These events are designed to be more than just social gatherings — they are opportunities to meet new people, create meaningful business connections, and reconnect with familiar faces. At the heart of Real Producers is the mission to build and strengthen relationships within our real estate community, and this event truly reflected that vision.

The evening would not have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors:

• APS Foundation Repair

• E3 Termite & Pest Control

• Young’s Suncoast Realty & Vacation Rentals

• Community Bank

• Eastern Shore Fence & Outdoor Structures

• New American Funding

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of our sponsors and every guest who joined us to make this event such a success.

Not Just Fixing Foundations, but Building Trust

APS Foundation has been in business for more than 47 years.

A family-owned and operated business, APS Foundation, has been serving homeowners and business owners across Alabama with foundation repair and waterproofing services.

Founded in Irondale, Alabama in 1977 by Craig Williams’s grandfather, the business began as a pest control company. They discovered that most pest issues stemmed from foundation problems, leading them to focus on foundation repair starting in 1988.

The company has remained family owned, passing from Craig’s grandfather through four generations. Craig now serves as CEO, with his son involved in foundation sales.

“I think that the key to our success has been our ownership and stability,” said Jordan Erwin, marketing director for APS Foundation. “As a family-owned company, we don’t just fix homeswe build relationships that last for generations. Our goal isn’t a one-time service, it’s to be the trusted partner your family can count on for life.”

“Our deep roots in the community and decades of hands-on expertise

have made us a trusted name when it comes to protecting and preserving our client’s most valuable investments; their property.”

Today, APS Foundation specializes in foundation repair, waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation, and related services.

Foundation repair and waterproofing companies use a combination of

specialized techniques and products to keep building foundations dry and protected from moisture. The process typically begins with a thorough inspection to identify sources of water intrusion, such as poor drainage, cracks in the foundation walls or floors, or elevated groundwater.

“All of these services are designed to ensure the structural integrity and long-term safety of your home or commercial building,” added Erwin. “Whether you’re dealing with settling foundations, cracked walls, standing water, or moisture problems, we offer proven solutions tailored to your specific needs.”

As a family business, the ability to travel and a having a growing fleet of sales and repairmen helped the business expand to three satellite offices (in North Alabama, Mobile and Columbus,

“Our team across the state treats every home and project like it’s our own by ensuring quality work, clear communication, and peace of mind from start to finish.”

Ga.), with the central hub remaining in Irondale. “We take pride in providing personalized, honest, and reliable service,” said Erwin. “Our team across the state treats every home and project like it’s our own by ensuring quality work, clear communication, and peace of mind from start to finish.”

With 100 employees across Alabama, the business has seen an increase in repairs seasonally when it rains. “Rain causes a lot or problems for building foundations, but we are experts able to handle the repairs,” added Erwin. “Having a dry crawl space under your home or business, usually helps solve most problems. And it’s a job we’re more than able to tackle.”

As for plans to expand out of Alabama, Erwin said “We are always looking to continue to grow APS.” But for now, they will keep working across the state of Alabama.

“At APS Foundation, we’re not just fixing foundations, we’re building trust and lasting relationships, one project at a time.”

MARIA CAZALAS

& Team Cazalas

Pulling Together

For Maria Cazalas, real estate isn’t just a career—it’s a family passion that has become a way of life. Working alongside her son Matthew as part of Team Cazalas at EXIT Realty Lyon in Fairhope, Maria has found her calling in guiding clients through one of life’s biggest decisions. What started as a curiosity has blossomed into a thriving business built on trust, family values, and a deep connection to the community.

A Leap Into Real Estate Maria’s journey into the industry began in 2018, but her interest had taken root long before that. “I was always intrigued by real estate but didn’t know how to get into it,” she recalls. Maria and her best friend Diane often talked about the possibilities of becoming real estate agents, and one day, Maria saw a new sign for a real estate academy. That sign was the spark she needed. “Diane and I decided to do it!” And with that, Maria launched a new chapter in her life.

A Team Built on Trust

The real magic of Maria’s story lies in her partnership with her son, Matthew. At

first, he joined her as an assistant, helping manage the busy pace of her growing business. After a year and a half, Matthew earned his own real estate license, and the two officially formed Team Cazalas.

Working side by side, mother and son have created a dynamic that sets them apart. “I love the fact that I can trust him 100% with everything,” Maria says. That trust is more than professional—it’s rooted in the unshakable bond of family. Together, they bring complementary strengths to the table. Maria’s optimism and experience combine with Matthew’s energy and passion for people.

I like showing them how the process works and taking fear away for them.”

Serving the Hispanic Community

One of the hallmarks of Team Cazalas is their dedication to the Hispanic community.

Matthew is bilingual and fluent in Spanish, which opens doors for many clients who might otherwise feel hesitant about navigating the real estate process. “He is very passionate about helping people,” Maria says proudly. “He is very outgoing, and that makes such a difference.”

Maria also finds great fulfillment in working with first-time homebuyers, especially those in the Hispanic community who may feel uncertain about the process. “They are unsure of the process in many cases,” she explains.

“I like showing them how the process works and taking fear away for them.”

For her, it’s not just about selling a house—it’s about empowering families with knowledge and confidence.

Family at the Center

For Maria, family is everything. Her husband, Joe, has been her steadfast supporter throughout her career. “I couldn’t do this without him,” she says. “He has been a huge support in my career.”

Her pride extends to her sons as well. In addition to Matthew, who works by her side, Maria has another son, Manny, who lives in Nashville. Both of her sons have achieved the milestone of buying their own homes—a point of pride for Maria, who has made it her mission to help families reach that very goal.

Beyond Real Estate Life in the Cazalas family isn’t only about contracts and closings. Matthew is a talented musician and DJ who channels his creativity into multiple bands while also performing at weddings and events. His love of music adds another dimension to his vibrant personality and helps him connect with people on a deeper level.

Maria herself loves to balance her busy real estate life with spending time with family, travel, trying new restaurants, and attending concerts. These experiences give her fresh energy and perspective that she brings back to her clients and her business.

A Legacy of Trust and Optimism

When asked how she hopes people see her, Maria doesn’t hesitate: “I hope people see

I hope people see me as trustworthy and know they can count on me 100%. I am very optimistic.”

me as trustworthy and know they can count on me 100%. I am very optimistic.” For her, success isn’t only measured in sales numbers or accolades but in the trust she builds and the lives she touches.

Looking Ahead

As Team Cazalas continues to grow, Maria is grateful for the path that led her here— the billboard that caught her eye, the friend who joined her on the journey, the son who became her partner, and the husband who supports it all. Real estate has given her a chance not only to build a career but to live out her values of family, service, and optimism every single day.

In every handshake, every closing, and every set of keys passed across the table, Maria sees more than a transaction—she sees the fulfillment of dreams. And with Matthew by her side, Team Cazalas is committed to making those dreams a reality for families across Fairhope and beyond. BRITTNEY FILION

KELLER WILLIAMS MOBILE

You are never too stuck to pivot. You are never too old to start over. You are never too new to succeed.

Brittney Filion embodies this mindset. With numerous life experiences, Real Producers November 2025 Rising Star Brittney Filion has demonstrated that with hard work and resilience, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

to Virginia where he was stationed. Despite this, Filion will always consider Alabama home.

Filion met her husband while attending college in Savannah, where he was stationed in the Coast Guard. Having a husband in the Coast Guard meant constant uprooting of her family. Moving every three to four years, from New Jersey to Alaska, Brittney got comfortable with the feeling of starting over.

For 12 years, Filion worked for an insurance company that allowed her to work from anywhere her family was transferred to.

“Life isn’t perfect, and it doesn’t give you handouts, but it does give you the ability to make the choices you need to make to become who you were meant to be. Free will. It’s God’s greatest gift to mankind. What we choose to do with it lies solely on us.” said Filion.

Brittney grew up in Montgomery, Alabama but with her father being in the Air Force, their family moved

“LIFE ISN’T PERFECT, AND IT DOESN’T GIVE YOU HANDOUTS, BUT IT DOES GIVE YOU THE ABILITY TO MAKE THE CHOICES YOU NEED TO MAKE TO BECOME WHO YOU WERE MEANT TO BE.”

“I was able to travel around the country and work at events such as the Concours d’Elegance in Monterey, California, and Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada. I truly loved my job at the time.” Filion said.

Traveling around the country for work was perfect for her until the birth of her two sons, Charlie and Jackson.

Filion said,“I wanted to be a wife and mom first, and work second. Once I stopped traveling, my current position didn’t fulfill me anymore.”

“I tried to apply for other opportunities but was told I already made as much money as I was ever going to make at the company, so I felt stuck. I was also told I could no longer have my kids home with me while I was working.” said Filion.

In 2022, Brittney’s husband Kris got transferred to Mobile, Alabama. Filion left her insurance job and moved back to Alabama with her family with plans to stay forever.

Filion stressed “choosing your hard.”

Filion explained, “it’s all hard, just choose what hard path you want to take. Starting over is hard, but staying at a job that no longer serves you and the lifestyle that you want to support is even harder.”

Having a job that allowed her to be a full-time mom while having a thriving career was the goal that drove her into real estate. Finding her place at Keller Williams Realty Mobile as a solo agent gave her that opportunity.

With a background as a military wife and a deep desire to help others, Filion recognized a unique group in need of support—military families relocating

to the Mobile area. Drawing on her own past challenges, she found the strength and motivation to pivot her life and career.

“They needed someone who has walked in their shoes, who knows what it’s like to get orders somewhere and not know a soul, to start over time and time again,” said Filion.

In 2024, Brittany was awarded Rookie of the Year and Top 20 Producers at Keller Williams Realty Mobile.

Brittney explained that there was “no secret sauce” to her success.”Having confidence, believing in myself, and portraying that I was already successful was my mindset. I had to remind myself that everyone is new at some point and nobody knew that I was new.”

By focusing on community networking, hosting lively and engaging open houses, and staying active on social media platforms, Brittney brings a fresh and approachable energy to real estate. Her creative, people-first approach helps her build strong connections and stay top of mind with clients.

Filion prides herself in being “personal, not transactional”, she explained how helping other military families get their footing in a new place and plugging them into the community feels like helping family. Filion said “investing in people” is the best way to go about her business.

Brittney is committed to building a sense of community for the families she serves. She hosts monthly foodie groups, sponsors family photoshoots—often partnering with Coast Guard spouses who are photographers—and runs a blog called Brave and Beautiful Co, a platform where military wives can promote their businesses and connect with one another.

“When people use me as a Realtor, they will get a friend for life if they want it. I don’t just disappear on them when the sale is done. I want to be there for people and love on them.” Filion said.

Brittney does much more for her community than selling homes. She is heavily involved in the Mobile Area Coast Guard Spouses Club. She was the club President in 2024 and led the club to grow its membership by three times.

With Filion’s leadership, this club held food drives, hosted food and pet

“I CAN SEE MYSELF MANAGING A TEAM OF AGENTS AND GETTING MY BROKER LICENSE. RIGHT NOW I’D LIKE TO FOCUS ON EXPANDING MY EXPERTISE TO MISSISSIPPI &

supply drives, and donated supplies to Penelope House. Brittney was named Aviation Training Center Mobile Spouse of the Year.

Brittney pours her heart into her business and clients, but being a wife and mom will always come first. Finding the balance between work and family is still a work in progress, but it’s something she’s intentional about every day. Spending time with her husband, kids, and her Jack Russell Terrier, Sam is her number one priority.

“We may have been all over the continent and back, but we know how to enjoy the simple things in life,” said Filion.

Looking into the future, Brittney has many aspirations in expanding her audience out of Alabama and potentially starting a team of agents.

“I can see myself managing a team of agents and getting my broker license. Right now I’d like to focus on expanding my expertise to Mississippi and Florida,” said Filion.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE WITH A PERSONAL APPROACH

“This is Daniel, can I help you?”

The above question is how Daniel Crigger answers the phone. He does this because that’s exactly what he wants to do, and that’s why he believes Complete Home Inspections LLC is still in business. “To do the best he can to help people make the best home buying decision possible.”

CRIGGER DAINEL

Out of that desire to serve, Daniel started Complete Home Inspections in 2003. After 22 years, it continues to offer home inspection services to everyone looking for their first home, to expand their rental portfolio, to upsize, or even to downsize into a smaller home.

Buying a home is a huge investment and the process can be daunting. Once someone finds a house to purchase and then to get an accepted offer it is the first of many steps.

The next big step is ordering a home Inspection for the house which covers everything from the roof to the foundation and all things in between. He provides his clients with a detailed yet concise and timely report giving them a clear picture of the overall condition of the home, the age of the infrastructure and its parts and remaining life of the systems in the house. In addition, he said the inspection is an excellent educational opportunity for his clients to learn about their new home.”

“The home inspection business is a service to our clients, and the report is a picture - a snapshot in time - of the house and its condition,” he said. “Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that an item working today will continue to work in perpetuity and no inspection can, nor should predict, how long things will last or be able to uncover every possible defect.”

“I like to tell clients that walking through the house with the inspector is like going on a second or third date. It can be very assuring and exciting... or it can be very revealing and leave you wondering who you were with on the first date.”

report also addresses and discloses items that are defective and not functioning as designed and will require immediate repair by licensed professionals.”

He believes spending time at the end of an appointment with the client is a great educational moment and the best part of his work.

“That is when all the questions get to be asked and answered and the clients have the time and an opportunity to really walk through the house, feel the house, and see the nooks and crannies they did not see the first time,” he said. “I like to tell clients that walking through the house with the inspector is like going on a second or third date. It can be very assuring and exciting... or it can be very revealing and leave you wondering who you were with on the first date.”

He goes on to explain the importance of having a home inspection of arms buyers with information to assist with risk management.

“Knowledge is power,” he explained. “Each report provides that information and discloses items that are recommended for repair and can be addressed at a convenient time without the expertise of a general contractor. The

Daniel spent several of his younger years in San Pedro Sula, Honduras with his missionary parents and learned to speak Spanish to help his Spanish speaking clients. “If you have ever had the opportunity to travel abroad, you appreciate that it is extremely reassuring to hear your home language when you are desperately needing direction or assistance,” he said.

He graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1994, where he met his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Crigger, owner of Beit Birth in Mobile. The couple moved to Mobile in 1997 to join The Rock Church, which was supporting his missionary parents. He was introduced to home inspections in 1999, and he started Complete Home Inspections while also becoming the principal of The Rock School. For 20 years, he balanced teaching and administrative duties at the school while conducting home inspections. He said he values investing in future generations, believing it has lasting positive impacts.

Complete Home Inspections is Daniel Crigger, the inspector and owner. In business since 2003, he has considered expanding and adding other inspectors, however, he enjoys the work and schedule. In addition, he said he appreciates his clients, and he prides himself on the quality of his service. For now, he is keeping it as a single owneroperator. “If God leads me to expand, I will wholeheartedly follow.”

A Landmark In

Mobile Bay Real Producers’ Featured Broker in Charge for November, Exit Realty Landmark, is found in the heart of downtown Foley. A boutique firm, the brokerage offers a highly personalized, concierge-level service through a dedicated team of accomplished professionals.

Exit Realty Landmark excels in providing comprehensive support tailored for busy professionals, first-time buyers, luxury clients, and anyone seeking a seamless real estate experience. Additionally, Landmark’s commitment to client relationships has consistently ranked them among the top 50 Realtor Brokerages in Baldwin County.

The Cramer team, as well as the agents featured here, exemplify the expertise driving their continued success.

Their achievements are clearly built on the expertise and

dedication of their leadership, and this feature will explore the distinct backgrounds and contributions of Diane Martino Broker/Owner and Anne Bodet, Qualifying Alabama Broker, whose commitments (among many others) have shaped the company’s reputation for excellence.

Diane Martino Raised in Buffalo, New York, Martino initially devoted 28 years of her life to the nursing profession. It was in this field where she met her husband, a neurosurgeon, with whom she shared a deep commitment to helping others - a foundation that

would shape both their personal and professional lives.

Diane’s journey alongside her husband led the family across various cities and eventually brought them to Fairhope, where her husband soon assumed the role of Chair of Neurosurgery at the University of South Alabama.

Martino’s interest in real estate began in the 1990s, with the buying and selling of investment properties, planting the seed for a future career change. In 2017, seeking a better work-life balance, Diane made the leap to pursue real estate full-time.

Despite not having established local connections in the area, she quickly distinguished herself at Exit Realty and attributes her rapid success to building trust and nurturing genuine relationships.

Exit Realty Landmark

Recognizing the remarkable growth in Foley and its allure as a Gulf Coast community, Martino founded Exit Realty Landmark in February 2021. The name reflects her vision: to create a true landmark within the community, and a welcoming space where clients feel supported and at home. Diane’s visible presence in the office, often punctuated by horn-honking drivers passing by the property, has led to her affectionate nickname of “the lady in the window.” Her approachability has made Landmark a trusted place for both clients and colleagues.

Anne Bodet

Anne is known for her versatile ability. Born in Mobile, she experienced several relocations during her youth due to her father’s work, returning to Mobile for high school and graduating from McGill-Toolen. She continued over to Spring Hill College, earning a degree in psychology with a business focus that prepared her for a career in human resources.

After working many years in that space, Bodet later transitioned to the dental field as an orthodontic treatment coordinator. Eventually wanting greater flexibility, she entered real estate, seeing success almost at once due to her strong sphere of influence and a chameleon-like ability to build rapport with virtually anyone.

Anne has also kept strong local connections with her community through competitive tennis and pickleball, as well as involvement in local theater. These activities

have contributed to her reputation for approachability and dedication and set her apart as both a leader and community advocate.

Associate Brokers

More than half of the team at EXIT Realty Landmark are Associate Brokers, including Amanda Farmer, Sheila Carlise, Paula Cramer, Jenny Carr, Anne Bodet, Diane Martino, and Marie Miller.

Marie Miller, one of their newest Realtors, made a bold move

into real estate just before the pandemic hit in 2019. Quickly gaining her broker’s license, she found her home at Exit Realty Landmark after interviewing with five agencies, drawn by the welcoming, team-first culture. Now, with deep construction know-how and a knack for connecting with people, Miller thrives on helping clients make confident real estate decisions.

The office is rounded out with Realtors Kathy Franklin, Krysta

Exit Realty Landmark’s ultimate focus is on its people, positioning itself to support success and positively impact the industry and community.

Rydar, Dan Cramer, Ashley Semmes, and Heidi Junkermeier.

Bright Future

Since opening six years ago, Exit Realty Landmark has distinguished itself in the local real estate industry, consistently keeping a top-tier ranking, regardless of changes in the industry.

Their name is continuously seen in rarified air alongside massive local counterparts that employ upwards of a hundred agents or more. This success is a testament to their dedication towards development and an unwavering commitment to both clients and the local community.

Leadership invests in regular training, Annual business planning and ongoing education, encouraging agents to grow professionally and adapt quickly to industry shifts. Team-building strategies are intentional and thoughtful, using DISC personality profiling to foster collaboration and mutual support. By understanding each agent’s strengths and communication style, Exit Realty Landmark creates a dynamic environment where team members complement one another and drive collective success.

Their focus is not just on growing numbers, but on refining and strengthening the team for

long-term excellence. Exit Realty Landmark also actively supports organizations like Julia Grace, takes part in local blood drives, and contributes to Toys for Tots, emphasizing their desire to make a positive impact beyond real estate.

Looking to the future, the brokerage aims for continued expansion into Florida, spearheaded by their Florida Qualifying Broker, Amanda Farmer, all while carefully preserving its high-performing, close-knit culture.

Exit Realty Landmark’s ultimate focus is on its people, positioning itself to support success and positively impact the industry and community.

FAQ

Welcome to Real Producers! Some of you may be wondering what this publication is all about, which is why we have created this FAQ page. Here, we will answer the most commonly asked questions from around the country regarding our program. My door is always open to discuss anything regarding this community — this publication is 100% designed to be your voice!

Q: WHO RECEIVES THIS MAGAZINE?

A: The top 300 agents in the Mobile Bay Area. We pulled the MLS numbers (by volume) from Jan. 1, 2021, through Dec. 31, 2021, in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. We cut the list off at number 300, and the distribution was born. For this year’s list, the minimum production level for our group is $7 million in 2021. The list will reset at the end of 2022 for next year and will continue to update annually.

Q: WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BEING FEATURED IN THIS MAGAZINE?

A: The process is simple. Every feature you see has first been nominated. You can nominate REALTORS®, agents, affiliates, brokers, owners, or even yourself. Office leaders can

also nominate real estate agents. We will consider anyone you bring to our attention because we don’t know everyone’s story, and we need your help to learn more.

A nomination currently looks like this: Email us at robert.orso@ realproducersmag.com with the subject line “Nomination: (Name of Nominee)” and explain why you are nominating the individual. Maybe the person has an amazing story that we need to tell, or perhaps someone overcame extreme obstacles, is an exceptional leader, has the best customer service, or gives back to the community in a big way. The next step is an interview with us to ensure a good fit, and then we put the wheels in motion for our writer to conduct an interview and for our photographer to schedule a photo shoot.

Q: WHAT IS THE COST TO FEATURE A REALTOR®, AGENT, OR TEAM?

A: Zero, zilch, zippo, nada, nil. The feature costs nothing, my friends, so nominate away! We are not a pay-toplay model. We share real stories of Real Producers.

Q: WHO ARE THE PREFERRED PARTNERS?

A: Anyone listed as a preferred partner in the front of the magazine is a part of this community and will have an ad in every issue of the magazine, attend our quarterly events, and be a part of our online community. We don’t just find these businesses off the street, nor do we work with all businesses that approach us. One or many of you have recommended every preferred partner you see in this publication. We won’t even meet with a business that you have not vetted and stamped for approval, in a sense. Our goal is to create a powerhouse network for the REALTORS® and agents in the area and for the best affiliates so we can grow stronger together.

Q: HOW CAN I RECOMMEND A PREFERRED PARTNER?
