Program Overview
Dual Enrollment allows high school students to take college-level courses for credit at both the high school and collegiate level. This program differs from MBU’s Early College Partnership by allowing students to enroll directly through the university for any approved courses
Application & Admission
• Complete the online application at apply.mobap.edu
o Be sure to select “Undergraduate”
o Near the top of the application, select “Dual Enrollment”
• Submit a high school transcript through Parchment or by email. Transcripts may be sent to mbuadmissions@mobap.edu.
• Students must be at least 15 years old and have sophomore standing in high school to be eligible for dual enrollment
Course Selection
• Students may take up to 2 courses (maximum of 7 credit hours) per semester.

Key to understanding course offerings:
• DMA = Day/Main Campus (in-person)
• WDL = Online, full semester
• WDL1 = Online, first 8 weeks
• WDL2 = Online, second 8 weeks
• MWF = Monday, Wednesday, and Friday class
• TR = Tuesday and Thursday class
• Seats Available column: If the number shows “0,” that means the class is already full. You have the option to join the waitlist.
Placement Testing
• Students who wish to take an English or Math course are highly encouraged to submit an ACT, SAT, or CLT score for effective placement. A test score will be required for certain course levels.
• If a student does not have a test score or does not meet the required prerequisite score for their desired course level, they are welcome to take the Accuplacer.
o To schedule the Accuplacer, email testing@mobap.edu
o There is a $40 exam fee, which must be paid prior to testing
o Scores are available immediately after testing.
Registration & Deadlines
• To register, email your course selections to dualenrollment@mobap.edu
o Example: SP-26 ENGL 113 Section WDL1
• Registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis and will close two weeks before each semester begins.
After Registration
• You will receive a confirmation email with your schedule and bill from your advisor.
• To set up your MBU student email, visit the Information Technology page.
• Access your student portal (MyMBU) at mobap.edu → MyMBU → MyPortal
o Here you can view My Schedule and My Bill.
• Billing Details
o A Parking Fee will automatically be added, except for online-only students who submit the Parking Fee Waiver to financialservices@mobap.edu: Parking Fee Waiver
o A Chick-fil-A tuition waiver will be applied for eligible students who complete the required form: Chick-fil-A Employee Form
o Payments can be made online through your MyMBU Portal or in person at the Financial Services office.
