Proud to be aschool ‘good’

Students areexpected to take on greater responsibility and accept leadership roleswithinthe wider school community,making sure younger children feel secureand supportedand helping the vulnerable in the local area.

Sixth formers arethe school’s ambassadors and represent the school in awide range of community activities and in sports teams. They can also express themselves through the performing arts, growing in selfconfidence and learning new skills.

Many courses, including geography, technology,history and languages, allow students to go on trips abroad. Exploration is also encouraged through participation in the Duke of Edinburgh AwardScheme.

All students engage in aprogramme of voluntary service both inside and outside school, and those who choose to can work with the sick on the annual Lourdes pilgrimage.
