EARN WHILEYOU LEARNINCONSTRUCTIONONA GROUNDWORKER APPRENTICESHIP WITH CHASETOWNCIVIL ENGINEERING–PARTOFTHE TARA GROUP

An apprenticeship is agreat way to learnwhile you earnand gain recognised qualifications.

With Chasetown Civil Engineering, part of the Tara Group, you’ll have the opportunity to spend time studying for a qualification whilst working.

Want to understand the ins and outs of construction? Then this is the place to start. Youwill interpret design specifications to prepareaconstruction site ready for structural building works to begin. Over an 18-month period, you will gain all the skills required alongside aLevel 2Groundworker apprenticeship qualification.

These areall site-based roles, so you will need to be happy to work outdoors in all weathers. Youwill need to be good with your hands, good working within ateam, and passionate about the industry.You will be based in the East and West Midlands and will requireyour own transport to travel to the site and occasionally our offices in Chasetown, Staffordshire. GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 2-3) essential.

To support you developing your career we’ll give you an individual development plan which will help you define aclear purpose and objectives to help you get whereyou want to go. And, you’ll be joining agroup that will provide you with all the necessary support within aculturethat has strong family values.

She said: “My dad has always worked in the construction industry so Ihave grown up around it and Iknew it was something I wanted to do too. Igot the opportunity through my dad, he arranged for me to start for agang on site through one of the contracts managers at the company.Every day is something different, so it doesn’t get tedious. Ialso love driving the plant machinery!”
