At Torc College you can #CreateYourCareer in construction, bricklaying or carpentry Rodbaston College is the perfect place to start your career in agriculture, animal care, veterinary care, arboriculture, countryside management, horticulture, equine and more! But Rodbaston isn’tjust aland-based college, you can also start your career in trades such as plumbing and motor vehicle!

At our Cannock College you can choose to start your career in accounting, business, construction, digital, electrical, engineering, early years, health and social careand uniformed public services.

Located at both Rodbaston and Torc colleges, Futures is adedicated provision designed to cater for students aged 16-25 with high needs.

Higher Education

Study adegree with us and choose from avariety of subjects including zoo animal management, education, film and TV,sports coaching, gaming, engineering, art and design and more.

SCHOOL PROVIDES AN ALL-INCLUSIVEEDUCATION THAT PREPARES STUDENTS TO REACH THEIRFULLPOTENTIAL

As one of Shropshire’s leading independent schools Wrekin College is forging ahead with a long-term campaign to not only up academic standards, but to create arange of specialist facilities.

The programme of works has entered its latest phase with anew £2million state-of-the-art design and technology school due to open later this year.

It comes as the school continues to win plaudits from industry leaders for its Business School and national awards for its Jazz and Concert Bands.

The school also opened anew Sixth Form Centre, recently opened anew Dance Studio and unveiled its second artificial playing surface.

It is all part of atargeted strategy to build on the school’senviable status for promoting employability skills helping to win coveted places at not only the top universities, but also some of the most sought-after apprenticeship schemes in the country

Sixth Form students at the school have also played key rolesinrunning anew business tohelp cement life skills taught in the classroom.

They launched the Wrekin Express-o, a coffee shop in arenovated horsebox that is opening regularly on campus, including at the recent ShropshireBusiness Festival which attracted hundreds of people from across Shropshiretogether with representatives from some of the most successful and high-profile companies in the region.

Headteacher TimFirth said Wrekin had looked to improve its offering in an extensive plan which focused on providing an all-inclusive education.

He said the aim was to not only preparestudents to reach their full potential in exams, but also to teach reallife employability skills and open up other opportunities to youngsters.
