The Sixth Form curriculum ranges from facilitating A-level subjects to accredited professional qualifications, including anewly established suite of T Levels. We aredelighted that 79% of our Year 13 entered higher education in 2022, with 14% of them now attending aRussell Group university

The highlight of Year 12 is the compulsory work placement. In the last five years, we have engaged with over 700 local business and industry leaders, supported students with Higher Education and Employers Fairs at the Academy, conducted practice interviews and advised on CV writing, as well as apprenticeship assessment day training.

It is always agreat delight to welcome back our former students to inspireour current cohort to fulfil their potential.

At arecent alumni event, one student commented, ‘I’ve never had as much support as Idid between 2013 and 2018. Walsall Academy contributed hugely towards the person I’ve become today The teachers gave me confidence to believe in myself…if Icould go back and do it all again, Iwould!’
