Pumpkins and Poetry Spiders by Emmett Engemann Spiders spiders on the walls. Spider spiders in the halls. Spider spider everywhere. Spider spiders in the air. Spider spiders spinning webs. Spider spiders in your beds! Autumn by Sophia Zasimovich Animals are getting ready for the winter, Umbrella help us to stay dry during the rainy season, The leaves fall the trees Unfortunately the days get shorter, Maple leaves turn yellow, orange, and red, Nature is very beautiful during fall. Halloween by Ana White Trick-or-treat is that thing in the year, When you hear it if rings your ear . It’s a night of fun and a night of fear, can’t you see it is crystal clear. Poem by Tara Kalyatanda When spiders crawl out on Halloween night, Ghost and goblins cause a fight. If you look up in the sky, You might see a witch fly by. While vampires suck blood day and night, You might hear a werewolf cry on Halloween night, In the end it is all good and not a blight. Every year on Halloween night, We dare not miss having a good fun night.

Spooky Halloween Poem by Noah Warren I am dressed as Peter Pan. It smells like candy tonight and the moon is a half-moon Give me treats or its time for a trick! I have been here before, But now things are different. There are so many costumes, Jack-o-lanterns with red eyes like vampires, and spookiness. I see my teacher on the sidewalk next to the Beetlejuice house. I can’t see her eyes, but she removes the hood from her black robe. She looks like the Big Friendly Giant. I see a zombie and it looks like real bones and a skeleton on the ground that really freaks me out!

Holidays are Way Better than Halloween by Alex Ligman Some kids love Halloween, But I think it’s way too scary. Vampires and zombies aren’t cute or funny, I’d rather hang out with the Easter bunny. You can keep your goblins and spell, I prefer Santa Claus and jingle bells. Why would you dress up as a skeleton or a bat? When you can gobble stuffing and wear a pilgrim’s hat. I get spooked by black cauldrons and witchy powers, It’s much safer to send valentine’s cards with hearts and flowers. But the best part of Halloween is that I don’t mind repeating, Is eating all of the yummy candy I get when I go trick-or-treating!

Poem by Eva McGriff Falls here my favorite season of the year, Let’s go out and play. Enjoy and have fun on your day, We can carve pumpkins in a good way. Poem by Alaina Varner Falling, falling , falling leaves, Falling, falling, from the trees. Falling, falling happily, Changing seasons it will be. Sleeping animals will be, Storing food in hollow trees. Waiting, waiting until spring, Changing seasons it will be. Growing, growing growing seeds, Sprouting, sprouting with some ease. Pumpkins pumpkins they will be, Changing seasons it will be. Get Ready for Bed by Theon Funk I brush my teeth with a bone from a skeleton, I floss with a web from a spider, Use a towie from a wolf, That is what I do do before I go to bed. Poem by Eleanor Fridkin I see a pumpkin, I hear a purr, I look around and I see some fur, And then I see a cat wearing a spooky witch’s hat! Halloween oh Halloween by Tekin Demirezen Halloween oh Halloween, You have a lot of scary monsters. Howl-o-Scream oh Howl-o-Scream, You scare children a lot.

Poem by Jackson Weinstein Every fall the Gators play, We watch them every Saturday. A touchdown is worth six, And you can score more with kicks. We make a special dip to eat, It’s my favourite fall treat. Pumpkins by Aidan Dong All the fields are full of pumpkins. Pumpkins, pumpkins, Turning and rolling. Pumpkins, pumpkins, Orange and green. All of them are waiting to be seen.

Poem by Emma Jasper Bats bats in your hair, Bats bats under there. Bats bats they might scare, Bats bats everywhere.

Poem by Luis Cager-Montero Spooky scary skeleton are in your house. Cats are everywhere and they all will jump you! Autumn is the season of fall. Rats are lying dead on the floor. Yelling old witches. Poem by Jimena Leey Fall is here! Fall, fall, fall, the beautiful red. Orange, yellow, and broen, Leaves go straight to the ground. I can see the pumpkins turn orange in to my house.

Step 1: Introduce yourself. It's always good to introduce yourself and tell them who you are and stuff about you so they know who they're dealing with. Step 2. Ask for their name and their interests. Get to know them and what they like so you can see your common interests and it's always good to know their name. Step 3. Have fun with them. Have fun and play with them. Get to know what they like to play and are good at. Step 4. Be kind. You should always be kind but now that you know their interests, likes, and stuff about them you know what might hurt them.

Zoe and Quartney’s Amazing Adventure By Sivan Amdur

And

Laura Santos

“Another perfect day for some bread,” Loe said. By her side was her best friend, Quartney. Carol, their neighbor, had given them some of her delectable home-baked bread that morning, which they were enjoying by the lake. Deep in the water, the two friends noticed something strange glittering in the sunlight. Eager to discover what the mysterious object was, Quartney dived in, grabbing what looked like a glass bottle and setting it on the shore. Frantically, they opened the bottle, finding a slip of paper. Grabbing the paper, Loe started to read the message “Help! I need someone to defeat an evil fox that is terrorizing my village, Goldcrest. Journey across the lake and ask for Patricia by the big tree.” “Kablooey! Let’s go help them!” exclaimed Quartney. Maneuvering through the water, the girls looked across the lake to see 3 miles of open water in front of them. Not wanting to give up, they ate some more bread and continued their journey. Over the next 5 hours, the friends never stopped, eventually reaching the other side of the lake and finding the big tree mentioned in the letter. Patricia, the woman from the letter, came running out of the forest to greet the girls. Quartney ran over teo Patricia and exclaimed, “We have arrived to save the day!” “Really, I can’t believe someone found my letter!” said Patricia. Speaking quietly, the two friends and the woman devised a plan to take down the fox that was destroying the village. Then, the fox jumped out of the bushes, snapping his great jaws at the girls and trying his best to eat them. Using the leftover stale bread that they had brought, the girls bravely whacked the beast. Very scared, the fox ran back into the bushes, not wanting to be hit again. “Wow!” exclaimed Patricia, who had seen the entire battle. Excited, the girls ran over to her and ate bread nuggets together. “You’re welcome!” said the girls in unison. “Zoe and Quartney, you really are the best ducks around!”

There once was a funny squirrel named Joe. He lived in a big tree, didn’t you know? One day, Joe forgot how to be funny. He needs to work to make lots of money. Joe set out to find things that are funny. One day he stumbled upon a bunny. The bunny told him lots of jokes and gags. Joe took lots of notes to put in his bag. The next day Joe met a very funny bird. That bird had the best jokes Joe ever heard. The bird gave him tips he was sure to use. A good comedian knows they must pay their dues. Joe needs one more joke to make it all work. He needs that last joke or he will go berserk. He looks high and low for the funny owl. The owls' funny jokes will make the crowd howl. After his trip Joe is back at the tree. The squirrel has a new show for all to see. Bunny, Bird, and Owl came to see the show. It was such a hit, now it’s time to go.

All the fans from their blocks, Batter swinging in the box. Cheering from the noisy stands, Daring from the pitcher’s hands. Ending with the final inning, Fail or succeed in winning. Giving all of his very best pitch, Having the batter ask, “Which?” In between innings fans stand up, Jeering at players while getting a cup. Kicking up the dust with inning at nine, Losing or winning on the line. Making the batter swing at air, Never ever making it fair. Over the wall the white ball goes, People shouting from their rows. Queueing the game when the batter asks, “Really? Are you seeing through those masks?” Slicing the ball towards the wall, Turning away to avoid the ball. Up and over as the ball goes out, Very big home run, no doubt. Watching your team dominate and go, Xenomania* is required for it, though. You might think this sport has fame, Zooming through the history of this game.
