Hats off to the 2015 Graduates It’s been twelve years in the making and this Friday 19 students of Mount Morgan State High School will complete their school education. The senior students will wrap up their final day with a special assembly in the morning, which will come complete with the traditional words from faculty and the ringing of the school bell around the grounds. It will then be an early finish for the students, who will head home in preparation of the 2015 Senior Formal. Mount Morgan State High School would like to warmly welcome all interested community members to attend the official arrival of the senior class. This will take place in front of the School of Arts Hall, at 7pm.

A Show of appreciation By Heather Quarry On Monday the 26th of October, 2015 Brian Glover, President of the Mount Morgan Show Society presented a cheque of $500 to the Mount Morgan State High School at their school assembly. Students from the High School were presented with certificates for their tireless efforts helping out at the show. From assisting as stewards in the show ring with the horses, to sorting and handing out prize money, and handing out ribbons, they did a fantastic job. Brian said “the students did themselves proud and they did their school proud on the day”. The High School’s Principal, Mr Trevor Rickertt, has been impressed with student participation both inside the school boundaries and outside at community events such as the Mount Morgan Show. The student attendance percentage has also increased in recent times. “This year fifty four students are sitting on one hundred percent attendance and want to be at school,” said Mr Rickertt.
