The concept we are excited to introduce at New Acres will offer a unique combination of fitness classes including YOGA, PILATES, BARRE, and strength and conditioning. Our plan is to divide the unit into two sections: one dedicated to New York-style strength and conditioning classes featuring a variety of sessions focusing on strength training, conditioning, and cardio; the other section will be designed as a stylish YOGA and PILATES space, also offering BARRE sessions to cater to a diverse audience. Additionally, we will create a juice bar at the front desk, providing a range of healthy drink options for our customers.
The vision behind GYM ON LONDON has always been to create a boutique space for professionals and individuals seeking a supportive and gender-diverse environment. Our aim has been to unite the local community, a concept successfully realized at our Battersea branch. GYM ON began operations in August 2019, but unfortunately, approximately six months later, the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to temporarily close due to government restrictions. Despite this challenge, our strong concept allowed us to foster a vibrant community within a short period. Through our expertise in creating cost-effective operations and hands-on management, we weathered the pandemic period while many others in the leisure industry faced closures.
The owners of GYM ON bring a combined experience of over 40 years in the fitness industry and are now eager to expand our boutique concept.
Our target demographic at GYM ON LONDON primarily comprises young professionals, but our versatile concept appeals to individuals of all ages. We welcome a diverse range of members, including those between 20 and 70 years old. As owners, our active presence on-site not only ensures cost-effective operations but also guarantees the smooth running of our facility. Emphasizing community-building and excellent customer service is integral to our business ethos, reflected in our impressive collection of over 140 five-star reviews. We prioritize local recruitment efforts and are keen on exploring opportunities to advertise job openings within the NEW ACRE community. In line with our commitment to this community, we offer discounted rates to both residents and employees of New Acre as part of our sales strategy.
Our dedicated marketing team collaborates with us monthly to execute our marketing plan, which involves launching a campaign to introduce our concept, generate leads, and offer discounted memberships at the outset. This marketing initiative will kick off several months prior to our opening day. Furthermore, our current Gym On site boasts over 500 local members, and with the introduction of new classes at the New Acres site, we aim to provide added value to our existing members. They can seamlessly transition to the new location with a slight adjustment to their current membership fees, which will also help drive foot traffic to New Acres, conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from our current site.”
Having operated in Battersea since 2019, Gym On possesses a deep understanding of the local demographic. Central to our mission is fostering community cohesion, and we frequently organize various events for our members, including summer and Christmas gatherings, workout sessions, and outdoor boot camps. Moreover, we maintain direct collaborations with local establishments such as Folk Living, Coda Residents, and Battersea Reach, hosting joint events that unite the immediate community. To further promote our concept, we’ll utilize outdoor spaces for workouts, attracting attention, and enhancing visibility. Additionally, our staff will actively engage with locals by distributing flyers and displaying signs, ensuring direct interaction with the community.”

Our daily timetable will feature 8-10 classes per day, divided between the conditioning section and the yoga studio. During hours when these spaces are not in use, our personal training clients will have the opportunity to train with their dedicated trainer, arranged by Gym On. We’ll schedule 4 weight training sessions daily, alongside 5 to 6 classes spanning yoga, pilates, and barre. Based on demand and popularity, we’ll make adjustments to class offerings as needed, ensuring we meet the preferences of our clientele.”
