Ganesh Balasubramanian is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Talent Development. His expertise spans Employee Relations, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Organizational Development, and Change Management. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to organizational growth and transformation.
Ganesh began his career at Apollo Tyres in 2004 through a campus placement at the Kalamassery Plant in Kerala. He has since held pivotal roles at the Chennai Plant, the Global R&D Centre in Chennai, and the Andhra Pradesh Plant. Currently, he heads the HR function at Apollo Tyres’ advanced manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh.
Ganesh’s HR contributions have earned him notable accolades, including the ASSOCHAM HR Excellence Award, HR Icon Award 2023, and CHROMA HR Excellence Award. Internally, he is recognized as the only employee to complete 20 years in the HR function, progressing from Trainee to Head level.
A Gold Medalist in Human Resource Management from Rajagiri School of Management, MG University, Ganesh has published articles in top HR magazines and addressed over 5,250 students and 1,400+ stakeholders at industry forums. With a strategic vision and a peoplefocused approach, he drives impactful HR practices.
Shaji Antony has over 17 years of extensive experience in managing Human Resources. He holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management from Sacred Heart College and is a certified Talent Management Professional from XLRI. Additionally, he has completed Strategic Human Resource Management training at IIM Ahmedabad and received training in the Faurecia Excellent System from Faurecia University.
Shaji began his career with TVS Sundaram Fasteners before transitioning to Gestamp Automotive India Pvt. Ltd. (a Spanish MNC) and Faurecia Interior Systems India Pvt. Ltd. (a French MNC). Currently, he serves as the Country Head of HR for India and Bangladesh at Stahl India Private Ltd., a Netherlands-based multinational company.
He brings extensive experience as both a Corporate HR and Plant HR professional, with expertise in the automobile and chemical manufacturing industries. Having worked with Indian companies and global multinationals, Shaji has gained valuable insights into blending a global mindset with Indian roots, effectively enabling him to "think globally and act locally.
