Preschool and Kindergarten Readiness

Activities include creative expression through art, movement, dramatic play and language opportunities, hands-on math and science experiences, craft projects, and enhancement opportunities that may include community field trips, dance and/or swimming . Participants must be at least 3 years old by August 31st, able to dress themselves and have independent bathroom skills . Kindergarten Readiness participants must be at least 4 years old by August 31st and not eligible to enter Kindergarten in the fall of 2022 .

Junior Kids Krew

Childcare program for ages 3-5 years offering a unique combination of recreational and enrichment experiences in a relaxed CHILDCARE and caring environment . Curriculum is OPTION similar to that listed for our preschool and kindergarten readiness classes . Participants must be at least 3 year olds, able to dress themselves and have independent bathroom skills . Program has been certified by Washington Department of Early Learning and is offered year round . Care available from 6:30am to 6:30pm up to a maximum of 10 hours a day . DSHS subsidies are accepted for qualified applicants . Children eligible to register for Kindergarten in the fall of 2022 are unable to register . Options for fewer days per week are also available . Sewing Classes with Little Hands Creations

MACHINE SEWING – GRADES 1ST – 6TH

All sewing classes instructed by teachers of Little Hands Creations . Children can learn a skill they will use for a lifetime and a hobby they will forever enjoy…sewing! No experience necessary . Students learn machine safety, beginner sewing techniques and complete two prerequisite projects . More experienced sewers will expand on skills they already have . Projects include backpacks, phone cases, clothing, accessories, bags, games, stuffies and more . The first class of the session is mandatory as the instructors teach the students how to use the machines and sewing safety. 1/31-3/28 Tuesdays 4:30-6:00pm R$220 N$242

SEWING WINTER WEARABLES – GRADES 2ND – 7TH

All sewing classes instructed by teachers of Little Hands Creations . Children will learn how to sew and use the machine while making some fun wearable clothing items . No experience necessary . Students learn machine safety, beginner sewing techniques, and complete two prerequisite projects . If your child is an experienced sewer, then they will expand on sewing skills they already have . Projects include earwarmers, fleece hats, infinity scarf, gloves, and so much more! Adventures in Art

LANDSCAPES, ANIMALS, PEOPLE

This class is a drawing-based art education program . The instructor uses simple drawing methods where students produce unique works of art using a variety of artist quality mediums . Students work to think creatively, expand their drawing skills, and become more confident in selfexpression . New drawing projects are presented on each lesson . Pay the instructor $5 on the first day of class . Each child will have their own set of supplies to use the entire session and take home once the class is finished . The class environment is encouraging and supportive . Kids Krew

Before and after school experience for children ages 5-12 years offering a wide array of engaging activities in a fun, caring and relaxed environment . Programs located at Mountlake Terrace Pavilion (Terrace Park students), Mountlake Terrace Elementary and Madrona K-8 . All sites have all been certified by Washington Department of Early Learning . Program hours are from 6:30am to start of school and from school release time until 6:30pm . Annual Registration fee of $35 for individuals; $55 for families and registration paperwork is required . Fees vary based on number of days registered . DSHS subsidies are accepted at all sites for qualified applicants . Please email childcare@ mltwa .gov for more information .

School Break Camps & Non-School Days

We offer specialty camps and events at our Pavilion Kids Krew Site for kindergarteners through 6th grade with a variety of fun things to do on scheduled non-school days in the Edmonds School District . Care is available from 6:30am to 6:30pm with a daily maximum of 10 hours . Children should bring their swimsuit and towel because we will go swimming! They should also have a sack lunch and water bottle . DSHS subsidies accepted for approved applicants .
