The implementation is an example of the use of a photovoltaic ventilated facade, which obtains energy from the sun while maintaining visual values.

ML System reproduced the façade using digital printing on the windshield. The building currently meets the assumed visual parameters and is powered by free and ecological solar energy. ML System facade photovoltaic panels are an effective and safe alternative to traditional building materials.

Celcius Uppsala
Celsius is an office and lab building at Uppsala Science Park that has been called Sweden’s most digitized construction project. ML System provided glass modules for the project - full black glass (frosted full-black) + a complete ventilated facade structure.

Sarpsborg Library
The new building of the Sarpsborg Main Library opened on November 12, 2024. The existing building was renovated and connected to a new 4-story building on an adjacent plot (former parking lot). ML System provided structural glazing units in large formats for the project.

Harness the Power of the Sun: Photovoltaic Architecture Integration
Imagine a world where buildings do more than just provide shelter—they generate clean, renewable energy. With photovoltaic systems seamlessly integrated into architectural designs, that future is now within reach.
What is Photovoltaic Architecture Integration? Photovoltaic (PV) integration goes beyond traditional solar panels. It involves embedding solar technology directly into the building’s design elements, such as facades, rooftops, windows, and shading systems. This approach not only maintains architectural aesthetics but also enhances the building’s energy efficiency.
