A Board Director and Non Executive for the last 20 years, with extensive experience in Property Development, Construction and Management across the sectors of Housing, Healthcare and Retail in both the public and private sectors.

Michael brings a wealth of commercial knowledge to MLJ. A Board Director for over 10 years with an extensive experience operating a SME business in the UK.

Lee has been in the Groundwork’s Industry for more than 25 years and has had a number of roles including Ground Worker, Plant and Machine Operator, Site Foreman and Construction Director.

Alex has worked as a Quantity Surveyor for over 15 years with vast experience in Professional, Main Contractor and Sub Contractor areas of surveying, delivering projects that exceed our customers’ expectations and within budget.

Managing all external works on MLJ sites ranging from 4 to 90 units with multiple staff on each project. Providing site programs and taking great pride in delivering quality workman ship and meeting and exceeding site program targets.

His quantity surveying experience covers a range of projects and has a proven capability for maximising the financial efficiency through the diligent application of contractual and commercial practices with minimum risk.

HEALTH & SAFETY At MLJ Construction we put our people first and are totally committed to creating a safe working environment on all of our projects and therefore invest in the latest industry training and accreditations.

We pride ourselves in offering all our employees, and those affected by our operations, a working environment in which they can safely carry out their duties. Appropriate training is continually given to ensure all our staff are trained and fully competent.

We have both internal and external Health & Safety professionals who

carry out monthly audits and onsite inspections, monitoring and ensuring that we are compliant with current legislation, safe operational methods and best practices.

Every project we manage has a site specific health and safety file, which contains policy and procedures, risk assessments, method statements, staff training records and all inspection records and other various documents. A master copy is kept at our Head Office and all projects are reviewed and audited on a regular basis.
