On behalf of our entire family at Foster Brothers Farms, we are excited to welcome you to the Hybrid Advantage Bull Sale! For years, we have proudly offered our bulls through private treaty sales, and we are incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built with customers who have trusted our genetics. This year, we’re taking the next step by hosting a live sale, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this offering with you.
We also want to take a moment to thank everyone who stopped by to visit us at the National Western Stock Show in Denver, Colorado. Taking pen bulls is not for the faint of heart, but it reminded us how great this industry truly is! Being able to catch up with old friends and meet new ones who share our passion for quality cattle was worth the snow and freezing temps. We are incredibly proud to showcase our genetics and were honored to receive Grand Champion Percentage Simmental Pen of Three and Reserve Champion Percentage Simmental Pen of Five. These achievements reinforce our commitment to raising Simmental influenced cattle that excel from a phenotype and performance standpoint, and we’re excited to offer you that same level of quality in this sale!
Raising cattle is truly a family effort, and we take great pride in standing behind every bull we sell. Whether you’ve purchased bulls from us privately in the past or are joining us for the first time, we are here to help you find the right fit for your operation. If you’d like to view the bulls before sale day, we welcome you to visit us. We’d love to show you the offering and talk cattle.
Please join us on April 18, 2025 at the Lonestar Stockyards in Wildorado, Texas, just outside of Amarillo. Food trucks will be available starting at 11:00 AM and the sale will begin at 1:00 PM. If you are unable to join in person, online bidding will be available through CCI.live or call any of the sale contacts listed. This event is not just about selling bulls, it’s about building connections, sharing our passion for the cattle industry, and celebrating the customers and friends who make this way of life so rewarding.
Thank you for your trust in our program. We look forward to seeing you on sale day and making this sale a great success!

The story of Foster Brothers Farms is fundamentally about FAMILY! Jody and David grew up on a diversified row crop and cattle operation. They raised cotton, corn, milo, potatoes, and anything else that could be planted to produce a cash crop, alongside commercial black-hided beef cattle. In the mid-nineties, this tight-knit brotherly duo decided to engage in business at a registered level. Their breed of choice was Chiangus with Chianina Composites. While the existing cow herd was primarily Angus, they sought something more, with added muscle, growth, and improved phenotype. Larry Golden, a neighbor and extended family member, achieved significant success in the early years of introducing the Chianina breed, marketing countless Texas Major contending and champion-caliber steers and heifers. That successful start was just a mile down the road, igniting the passion for the “Hybrid Advantage”, a reality that paved a path that shifted ever so slightly to include the influence of Simmental genetics.
In the early years after the turn of the century, Foster Brothers Farms became a household name—a family synonymous with integrity, quality, and success. Each of the five children proudly carrying the God-given Foster name earned scholarships at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition for exhibiting a Breed Champion Junior Breeding Heifers, and they all exhibited a Champion Female at the American Junior Chianina Association Junior National Heifer Show as well. The cattle boasted excellent phenotype with enhanced foot size, substance of bone, and true beef cattle shape, while exuding significant presence. This did not change when management shifted the focus to the SimGenetic business. The stock remained competitive, retaining the same trademark advantages as their Chi Composites, if not exceeding them.
We welcome all of you to the “Hybrid Advantage” Bull Sall version 2.0! This sale name continues what was started two decades ago, and we are thrilled to be part of the marketing team. In addition to the growth of the family, the cow herd has increased both in number and quality. This group of bulls results from significant genetic investments and commitments to some of the industry’s most sought-after donor dams, known for their maternal prowess. The Angus donor, PVF Blackbird 3127, and Simmental donors like the past National Champion FBFS X-Clamation 76X, along with her daughter FBFS Exclamation 045E and HILB Deja vu G106W, contribute to the majority of the offering. 76X maintains a strong presence throughout the entire set, as she appears in both sides of many pedigrees, underscoring the maternal strength of her contributions to the program.
This set of bulls features not one, but two champion-caliber competitive pens of bulls at the 2025 National Western Stock Show. The Champion Pen of Three Percentage Simmental Bulls and the Reserve Champion Pen of Five Percentage Simmental Bulls are all exclusive to the event. FBF left an impression on those who attended the coveted event, and rightfully so. The decorated individuals mesh right in with their quality contemporaries, and we are positive that the buying public will concur.
Please consider this your invitation to join us on April 18, 2025, at the new and comfortable Lonestar Stockyards west of Amarillo at Wildorado, Texas, just off of Interstate 40 for the reinstatement of the “Hybrid Advantage” Bull Sale. This is your number one source for ranching’s best tool, Heterosis! We are certain that when you commit to making the trip, you will not be disappointed with your decision to view the offering in person. There’s so much more to say about the cattle and the family, but one page just isn’t enough. If you should need any assistance or any additional information about this elite offering of herd sire prospects, we encourage you to engage with SyAnn, Jody, or anyone affiliated with the firm. The team at Innovation AgMarketing will also be available for any correspondence regarding the quality and talent of the offering that lies between the covers of this sale book. We look forward to fielding your interest and meeting you all in person on Friday, April 18, 2025!
Please enjoy the cattle and may God continue to bless our great nation and protect those who fight for our freedom to experience the ranching lifestyle.
Graham Blagg Jered Shipman Tim Anderson
Suited for his namesake, this herd sire prospect is built like an American! Stout in his shape and bone with mass and weight per day of age.
He is a son of the $620,000 STCC Tecumseh 058J and out of FBFS Jenney 500J, a maternal sister to the impressive FBFS SWC Jordan 23J and FBFS Ledson 536L, the lead bull in the 2025 Champion Pen of Three Percentage Bulls at the National Western Stock Show! The past National Champion, FBFS X-Clamation 76X, is as strong of a cow family as any in the breed.
He will be a trait leader for growth and sheer quality while contributing to end product yield.
Member of the 2025 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Five Percentage Simmental Bulls.
2025 NWSS GRAND CHAMPION PEN OF THREE PERCENTAGE SIMMENTAL BULLS
Member of the winning pen!
Cowboy-bred and rancher-approved is exactly what this big framed, long-sided, heavy-built herd sire prospect is constructed for. He has the influence of W/C Loaded Up 1119Y, SS/PRS High Voltage 244X, JBSF Berwick 41F, and two shots of the West Texas-born JSSC Wide Body 090W, from the 76X cow family. He is, no question, a product of this elite family operation.
501M was a member of the Champion Pen of Three at the National Western Stock Show that was admired for their power, substance, beef animal merit, and what they could contribute to the industry.
His sire, JSSC Caddiliac Kind 86G, is a tremendous breeding bull that was bred by and owned in partnership with Joe and Josie Seale of San Augustine, Texas. The maternal side of his pedigree is supported by the famed “Susanna” cow family that calls home to R&R Cattle Enterprises of Keithville, Louisiana.
We expect this performance-bound prospect to sire a set of cattle that will feed and yield while injecting additional profit through pounds.

This CLRS Homeland 327H son is from the $75,000 FBFS Exclamation 045E donor dam making him a three-quarter brother in blood to 545M. His impressive genetic ledger in this offering places him in the top 2% for YG, the top 4% for REA, the top 10% for WW, and the top 25% for YW and Stay.
551M offers diversification and the ability to retain the female siblings to the scale-pounding male progeny.
• He’s supported by a high-caliber cow family and is sired by one of the elite growth profile bulls of the breed.
This brotherly trio should solidify confidence not only in the cow family but within the sire group as well.
559L is a strapping, sturdily built creature with big paws, extra bone, and significant frame and scale. His mass and capacity will make you take notice.
The burly, dense, rugged built brother of the flush by CLRS Homeland 327H from the dominant donor dam of the program. For those who follow the Simmental business and know the cow families, this offering could be comparable to the one at the W/C when you consider the saturation of dominant females that are responsible for the foundation of a progressive breeding program. 76X would be of comparable fashion to the likes of 534R when it comes to influencing a significant portion of a breeder’s program.
Again, plenty of punch and performance with carcass value on board, and the reputable donor family to take his cattle across the finish line.

This would be a royally bred herd sire prospect that would offer as much calving sensibility in terms of problem-free calving scenarios as any in the ageadvantaged bull offering.
Of course, it takes “two to tango”, but when management is applied or a little supervision at calving, the cattle by SO Remedy 7F are consistently moderate at birth and the daughters are proving their worth in production as well.

The cattle by VCL Foresight have been consistent for extension and look across the land.
007M is certainly one chiseled, sharp, masculine-built herd bull prospect with the necessary shape and dimension. He impressed the ranch team at weaning as he adjusted to 918 pounds to ratio 121.
Member of the 2025 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Five Percentage Simmental Bulls.
A big, level pinned stud with the right body shape, a near textbook set of running gear, and the look of a production sire.
The cattle by the $200,000 EC Rebel 156F continue to deliver shape, power, and skeletal integrity.
• One can never go wrong with the influence of X-Clamation 76X within the pedigree profile.
• WOW! 132 Weaning ratio with spread type performance and carcass quality on board.
We expect him to sire a set of cattle that are loaded for bear from all aspects of growth and profitability.
He charts in the top 25% for multiple profit drivers including CE, WW, MWW, CW, YG, and REA.
Member of the 2025 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Five Percentage Simmental Bulls.
• Another son of the FBFS X-Clamation 76X and Riverstone Vegas 49H mating that comes with the extra size and performance advantages.
108M does maintain the advantage for the substance of bone and shape in a very close race among family. We are certain his cattle should weigh with the others as he recorded 747 pounds at weaning.
Member of the 2025 NWSS Reserve Grand Champion Pen of Five Percentage Simmental Bulls.
The influence of PVF Blackbird 3137 is very significant in the SimGenetic program at Foster Brothers Farms.
We certainly appreciate and admire the build, shape, and look this “in-house” bred herd sire prospect has to his claim.
• His sire is a direct son of FBFS X-Clamation 76X sired by the JS Simmental Patriarch, CDI Innovator 325D. He blends two of the most potent donor families within the Foster Brothers Farms program, thus enhancing the likelihood that you will experience significant daughter retention to continue building your cow base for the future of your operation.

Once again, the lineage tells the story. In today’s industry, academia has encouraged folks to utilize the data submitted in the finished form of EPDs and Index values. However, when certain bloodlines have had minimal data submitted, those genetics are at a significant disadvantage. Yes, it is the responsibility of the management to turn in data, but more often than not, it doesn’t get turned in, not because it is inferior, but because when they sell open heifers or show heifer sires for the amounts they do, they may not feel as though it is necessary.

613L is a deep ribbed, big-bodied, smooth-made, low-percent SimAngus prospect that’s ready for cows.
He is sired by a very deep, soft son of Profit and from a very productive daughter of the great JSSC Wide Body 090W.
If size, extension, and sharp lines are your preferences then look no further.
• He has jumped through all the hoops to get to this point in terms of measured performance and a pass on the BSE.

539L posts up with the look and build of a high end Chiangus sire prospect that has the credentials to sire cattle with production and pounds or with that green shavings look.
The son of STAG Good Times 201 is laced with the maternal sire power of the old-school patriarchs. RDD Aces High 6N 1CA, the past National Champion and sire of the likes, in combination with THMT E-Mail 375K 1CA, another National Champion with the same credentials, influence one that represents all three in his phenotype and presence.
He’s a breeder bull that should impact any program.

The bulls that built the brand are still available. Chiangus Cattle founded the “Hybrid Advantage” bull sale. These cattle are loaded with shape, power, and a trademark look.
543L has the extras for size and scale with an extra shot of quality and he should sire cattle with cutability and carcass weight. We love his added dimension, shape, and real world power!
RDD Aces High 6N 1CA and PVF Blacklist 7077 influence the sire prospect’s high probability for female retention as well.

A more traditional Chiangus bull in terms of stretch, length, and frame. 544L is taller fronted, strong in his spine, high in his pin set, and sets down on a very textbook hind leg.
We think highly of the son of LLW Cardinal Crossover 236J, but are more impressed by what his dam consistently does year after year. She is influenced on the top side by Thomas Lucy 2139, a female that was selected from the Akers and Cane Ridge programs of Kentucky. The blend of two of the more potent Bill Conley bred sires, BC Raven 7022 and BC Lookout 7024, add to the rib and density of this bull’s pedigree and what he has to offer to a progressive outfit.
