Golf

In Soccer Club. you get exercise without the intense competition of tryouts. - Roberta Smith. Freshman Although soccer c lub receives very little recognition. each team member can be commended for his or her efforts. Everyone put in long hours of practic e which became apparent in the skills used on the field . Soccer is no longer only a sport for men. Several women showed they can play just as well. In fact, the men may have learned a thing or two. Now the season has drawn to a close. but the memories will continue for a long time to come.

The golf team. coached by Karl Tague. had a driving season . Although not every match was a victory, accuracy improved and skills were sharpened. The many practice hours resulted in improved slices. hooks, putts. and chips. DMLC swings with golf .
