The 15 people in cross country this year did it because they wanted to. Cross Country takes a special commitment displayed by everyone during the exciting 1988 season. No one will forget the infamous monstrosity known as "the Hill". found on DMLC's own course. 1988 marked the 1st NLCAA National Cross Country Meet. hosted by DMLC. Though everyone crossed the finish line. and the season has long ended. the friendships made in 1988 are just beginning.
