Hard body armours are composed of high-performance durable materials; such as highstrength steels, ceramics, ceramic composites, Ultra-highmolecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), p-Aramid, Carbon, etc. It exhibits higher resistance to penetration and possesses higher surface density than the soft body armour.
