Canadian Swim Patrol
Standard First Aid & CPR C
Prerequisite: Must be 10 years of age and up and able to swim in deep water. This program is for participants who want to work on stroke development and fitness and water rescues. Great prep for Bronze Star while working on Rookie, Ranger and Star Patrol skills.
Whether you need training for employment or simply want to be prepared to respond to life-threatening emergencies, this course will give you the skills and knowledge to act with confidence. Through practical activities, you will learn to recognize and treat injuries including head & spinal, softtissue, facial, abdominal & chest, burns, bone & joint, and other common medical emergencies.

Great for pre-Bronze Medallion training. Learn self-rescue techniques, in-water searches, water rescues, CPR and first aid. Recommended for those 12 years of age and up with the ability to swim 400 metres (16 lengths) in 12 minutes. Sept 8-Nov 3 Sat

LIFEGUARDING National Lifeguard Pool Option This course teaches the core content needed to lifeguard at a swimming pool. LEADERSHIP
Develop proficiency at patient assessments and water rescues, aquatic spinal injuries, CPR and first aid skills plus fitness training. Bronze Cross is one of the pre-requisite awards for all advanced lifesaving and lifeguarding certification courses. Bronze Cross is also worth 2 Grade 11 high school credits. Pre-requisite: Completion of Bronze Medallion. 4:00-9:00pm
