We are delighted to introduce ‘The Navigate Programme’. This is our new student recruitment brand which runs across the MJM Group of companies. The Navigate Programme will put in place a programme to support students through different stages of their educational journey and build a talent pool of employees of an exceptional standard.

The programme will start engagement at Key Stage Four (Aged 14-16) and continue through to Graduate level. The programme will inform young people about the opportunities available at our companies. It will offer work experience, placements, graduate employment and opportunities to engage with us. We will work with schools and colleges to help provide career guidance to students. MJM Group currently employs more than 650 people across Northern Ireland and has access to a global pool of more than 2,000 people to deliver projects from Singapore to Sydney to Seattle. Across the Group we have recruitment opportunities ranging from apprentice to director level. We currently deliver apprenticeship programmes in MJM Marine and Mivan; we run placement programmes; graduate opportunities; and work placements. We hope to engage even more students, schools and colleges in working with MJM Group through The Navigate Programme. We hope that we will encourage young people to look at the extensive career opportunities at every level, available on their doorstep in Northern Ireland.

Junior Navigators Key Stage Four
Junior Navigators gives schools and young people a first introduction to MJM Group. WORK EXPERIENCE NAVI
ATORS Work Experience Navigators MJM Group has a dedicated work experience programme to give young people an opportunity to spend three to five days in a working environment. This is a three to five day programme with a choice of two different pathways: • Operational- QS; Contracts; Design • Business Administration- Marketing; Finance; HR • Limited number of positions available for each pathway MJM Marine, Mivan and Topglass are now taking applications for the 2020 work experience programme. To apply, please send a cover letter stating the dates (to & from) you require work experience; and which pathway you wish to take part in. If you wish to apply for any other type of work experience, please do let us know. We require formal contact from the student’s school with the requisite paperwork prior to acceptance. APPRENTICE NAVI

Apprentice Navigators MJM Group has well established apprenticeship programmes in MJM Marine in Newry, at our site in Ballykelly and in Mivan. MJM Marine and Mivan have Apprenticeship programmes in conjunction with the Regional College network. The programme currently offers Specialist Joinery and Furniture Production / Bench Joinery apprenticeships which lead to a Level 3 NVQ Diploma. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age on or before 1st July in the year of proposed entry to the apprenticeship. MJM Marine has also recently introduced a Higher Level Apprenticeship in Mechatronics to its Apprenticeship Programme and will continue to introduce relevant Apprenticeship Programmes dependant on Company requirements. Apprentices will be: • Mentored by an Apprenticeship Mentor • Trained under the guidance of an experienced team leader on the methods and practices used to produce bespoke joinery items • Supervised until fully competent to carry out the tasks unsupervised • Gain a professional qualification whilst earning as they learn Career Development opportunities exist within the Production Department and throughout other Departments to include Design and Contracts. Placement Navigators The Placement Navigators Programme offers paid Placements of, up to one year, to College/University Students, in the following disciplines: • Contract Management • Quantity Surveying / Estimating • Construction Management • Design • Business Administration • Production Management Placement students will benefit from • Full Company Induction • Student Focus Groups • Quarterly Reviews • Personal Mentors • Interdepartmental work experience • Training (Internal and External) • International Travel (Placement specific) At the expiry of their Placement students will provide an oral presentation of their learning experience. Dependant on Company requirements, a Placement Student / Students may receive a conditional Company Sponsorship for completion of their University studies through the Navigator Brand Ambassador Programme.
