Architecture at Newcastle Our Architecture BA Honours degree is your first step towards qualification as a professional architect.

This design-based degree is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and provides exemption from the RIBA Part I examination. With a constantly evolving city on your doorstep, Newcastle is the ultimate case study for architecture students.

Our Architecture and Urban Planning BA Honours offers a great introduction to important ideas about architecture and cities.

You will study a balance of architectural and planning topics that provide you with an understanding of urban architecture and alternative practice. You'll also have the opportunity to explore diverse topics such as architectural history, the current planning process and other modules relating to cities, space and people.

You'll also gain an understanding of architectural design through working with drawing and model-making and Adobe Suite and CAD software.
