What artists (art, music, literature, architecture, etc.) inspire you most? Cunningham/Cage/Rimbaud/Bob Dylan/Dylan Thomas/Herzog/Flatbush Zombies/Gaudi. How do you unwind? TM, Ashtanga Yoga, and morning walks with my German Shepherd, Max on the East River. What’s your favorite travel destination? Hotel? Tough to choose but lately, Marrakech... La Mamounia What is your favorite movie, book and/or author? Favorite movie... Ponyo, book... Anna Karenina, author... Tolstoy, of course! Why do you love creating custom pieces? I am in love with the rare stones that I collect around the world. It is my great pleasure to work closely with a client to create a design, have it executed fastidiously in Florence by my master goldsmiths, and deliver the final jewel in its own customized Florentine box.
