Welcome to the Blissfest Kid’s Area 2015!! Be sure to dog-ear this page in your schedule so you can keep up with the hour by hour fun to be had Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday! The Bliss Kids Area is dreamed up by four Mamas, who get through the long winter months thinking of sunny, happy children and tunes on the wind. It is manned by a troupe of amazing volunteers. We hope that being immersed in a weekend of music and art will excite your imaginations, inspire you to create, tempt you to try different forms of artistic expression, and to have so much fun in the process! Be sure to check out the energetic, kid-centered music line-up at Third Stage for Saturday and Sunday morning 10 am-1 pm. Free-style, creative play activities will be out at the Kids Tent during this time, and the Crafting and Art Projects will begin once the Kids programming is over at 1 pm. Along with music, playthings, and crafts, look out for face painters, Henna artists, balloon benders, magicians, and roving puppeteers! Feel welcome to come to the Family Talent Share on Sunday with a song, skit, trick, joke, or any other amazing thing you may like to share. Also on Sunday is the rocking Kids Parade! We’ll march around the grounds dancing and making noise. The more is always the merrier. Mamas and Daddies, we ask that you stay and experience the Kid’s Area with your children. There is lots of activity and happy chaos, and we don’t want anyone feeling lost or scared. Remember that this is a messy place. Please wear clothing that isn’t shy of paint, dye, glue, glitter, markers, and mud. Parents and Kiddos alike, please be safe, be kind, look out for one another, show respect, be a good example, thank a volunteer, and participate wholeheartedly. KIDS PARADE • 3:30 pm The Kids Parade is at 3:30 pm with the Dirty River Bourbon Show leading the way. We meet at 3:15 in the Kids Area and dance around the festival grounds. Costumes, silly props, noise makers and large puppets are welcome and encouraged.
