SMALL STEPS

The word “Small Steps” explores many feeling, happiness, challenges, and its a great part of children’s school life. The School is located in Dungarpur, Rajasthan. The indoors and the outdoors and providing opportunities for introverted and extroverted learning for the children.

The design aims to establish interrelation of the indoor ond outdoor spaces. The design also explores the potential of brick as a material by utilizing brick, as strucure and as climate responsive material. The building is envisioned to be of niche, room, circulation, ventilation and source to bring in light.

YOUR VOICE

The intent of the programme was to address the opportunities in a place like Dharavi. A larger issue is the isolation of the place and hence it leads to many other problems so by introduction of a programme. By analysing the living patterns of the Dharavi people, one can notice that the people sped most of their time in semi open and open spaces spaces and the built spaces are used as shelter and storage space.

The issue of lack of open spaces in Dharavi is to be considered in programme. The project aims to second as a public space and a platform for auditorium and amphitheatre to be in a fabric where maximum opportunities and interaction by making Performing Arts Academy takes place.

CAFE’S DESIGN

The cafe design project for Mr. Manish, situated in Belgaum, Karnataka. The focus of this endeavor is to convert a modest area into a comfortable and trendy cafe. The interior design is incorporated a blend of rustic wooden elements, contemporary furnishings, and thoughtfully selected local artwork to establish an atmosphere that exudes warmth and sophistication.

Special attention has been given to maximizing creating cozy seating arrangements that promote relaxation and socializing. The end result is a distinctive cafe that provides an unforgettable experience for its customers, solidifying its position as a cherished local establishment in Belgaum.

Vision: Creating buffer spaces in dense urban areas that celebrate local culture and history. Providing various breathable spots in highly dense fabric that embrace local flavors. This can help to boost and enhance tourism.

06 SHRUJAN

Shrujan is a non-profit organisation that strives to provide women in Kutch with sustainable employment and craft revival. For the past 50 years, the Shrujan Trust has been dedicated to generating revenue for craftspeople and revitalising their skill.

Shrujan delivers the raw materials, textiles, and threads to their doorstep, as well as collects payments as soon as the stitching is completed. Every year, over 4,000 women work from home, on their own schedule and at their own speed. In the years ahead, the initiative aspires to be a melting pot of creativity and collaboration for design and craft work, not just in India but also globally.
