Hi Mummies and Daddies. This is a little story I wrote for your child as a small gesture to thank them for being the best children I could have ever asked for in my first year of teaching. I am grateful to have had your child in our class this year. Each and every child brought joy to my heart everyday and I am going to miss them all so incredibly much. Each book is personalized according to what your child told me they wanted to be when they grow up. I hope your child enjoys the story and keeps it as a little memory from this year. I’m not sure if any of you know this but I am moving to The Netherlands this year to complete my teacher education.

To my little best friend Omar. Thank you for being the sweetest little boy and filling all my days with so much joy. Thank you for playing animals with me everyday, I learnt so many amazing animal facts from you! You’re such a special, smart little boy and you’re going to achieve so much in your lifetime. There once lived a Policeman named Omar. He was the best Policeman in the land! He loved to keep the land safe by putting all the bad guys in jail.

One evening Omar was relaxing at home after a hard day’s work when he got a call on his walkie talkie. “Omar there is a new bad guy on the loose! We need your help to keep everyone else in town safe and put the bad guy in jail!”

Now Omar had just come back home from a long and hard day’s work so he was very tired. All Omar really wanted to do was go to sleep but he knew his town needed him. He put on his Police uniform and got into his Police car.

He got to the Police station and collected all the information he could about the new bad guy who was in his town. He found out that the bad guy was at the candy shop stealing all the sweets and chocolate! Omar quickly jumped into his Police car and drove as fast as he could to the candy shop.

He saw the bad guy taking all the chocolate and sweets!

The shelves were nearly empty! Omar waited until the bad guy could not see who was walking near the shop and then he ran in and caught him! “Excuse me sir but those chocolates and sweets are not yours. You are under arrest for stealing.�

The bad guy was put in jail and Omar became a town hero! He went to bed as soon as he got home. He was so tired! But it was all worth it because, because of Omar the land was safe again!
