Proclaiming Christ Proclaiming Jesus as the Way, Truth and Life while bringing people to a saving faith in Him demonstrated by repentance from sin, baptism in water and membership in a local body.

STATEMENT OF VALUES The Authority of God’s Word The Bible is verbally inspired of God and is our final authority on all matters of faith, doctrine and morality.

The Call to Prayer and Fasting “My house is to be called a house of prayer.” The effectiveness of our church is proportionate to our faithfulness in prayer. God’s provision comes to us only in response to our faith expressed through prayer and fasting.

The Power of The Holy Spirit All ministry and spiritual activity is most effective and fruitful when offered under the guidance and anointing of God’s Spirit.

The Priority of Worship The worship of God is our ministry to Him and should be biblically modeled and offered in reverence with humility and joyfulness.

The Mandate of Spiritual Warfare The reality of the invisible realm of spiritual conflict demands biblical confrontation through intercession and ministry with discernment and grace.

The Call to Holiness The church will only be as strong as the individuals’ commitment to model the character of Jesus Christ and walk intimately with the Holy Spirit.

The Sanctity of Marriage and Family The biblically modeled family is God’s foundation for a healthy church and strong society. As such, it should be nourished, served and strengthened.

The Response to the Great Commission We are called to “go into all the world.” Therefore, the scope of our vision reaches beyond our community to the uttermost parts of the world.

The Responsibility of Stewardship Each believer is called to be a faithful steward of his time, talent, and treasure.

We must be available to serve, minister selflessly and tithe of our finances.

The Need for Unity Among Believers Any community of human beings will have conflicts and misunderstandings.

As believers we should be devoted to one another in love and remain committed to resolve differences.

REPORT OF THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE Be it known that at a regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees, a Nominating Committee was formed for the purpose of presenting nominees for two available positions of Trustees to be filled at the Annual Business Meeting according to Article III, Section 7 of the bylaws of The Mission Church.

Being the current terms of Terry Doyle and Tricia Johnson will complete on February 25, 2024, the Nominating Committee set out to present nominees for two available positions for a total of four nominees.

After prayerful deliberation, the Nominating Committee is very pleased and excited to present the following names for nomination to the position of Trustee of The Mission Church (two out of the four below names may be elected).

Two out of the above four nominees may be elected upon a majority of votes cast, ignoring blanks, and a quorum being present.

POLICY FOR ABSENTEE VOTING Members shall qualify for absentee ballots who are unable to attend the meeting due to the following: •

Employment obligations (i.e. required to work)

•

Out of state (i.e. will be located in a state other than NY during meeting)

•

Incapacitated (i.e. sickness or injury prevents attendance)

Ballots will be available 10 days prior to business meeting date.

Ballots will be anonymous and placed in an unmarked envelope. That envelope shall then be placed in another envelope marked with member’s name. Once received, the member’s name should be marked on roster as having submitted an absentee ballot and unmarked envelope will then be removed from marked envelope to be counted during election. The number of votes being cast will reflect the number of absentee ballots submitted.

Absentee ballots are only used for first round of voting. They cannot be used in subsequent rounds.

Therefore, the number of votes being cast must be recalculated to remove the number of absentee ballots submitted.

participation. In 2023, we added 40 people to our membership roster which brought our active membership total to 310 at the close of the calendar year. Our average Sunday morning in-person attendance for 2023 was 476 (up from 432 in 2022) as well as an average weekly online live views of 161 (up from 143 in 2022). This is like having an online congregation—another church—joining us in worship every Sunday morning. Additionally, we had 30 people baptized in water, about 400 people participate in two semesters of Connect Groups, approximately 66 percent of our members actively involved in church ministries, over 100 children participating in Wednesday night boys’ and girls’ ministries, and over 100 recorded visitors on Sunday morning (obviously, there are many more than that). Praise God for the great things He has done!

In 1910, The Mission Church began as a collection of home fellowship groups established by a circuit-riding preacher—a woman named Rachel Lee. Because of her faithfulness and hard work, the church was incorporated in 1915, purchased a building on Farmers Mills Road, and became known as “The Farmer’s Mills Mission.” In 1932, the building that housed the church burned down, which became the catalyst for that congregation’s first building project. The charred remains were rebuilt, the fellowship was reestablished, and Christ continued to build His church. By 1972, Pastor Joe and Vera DeSha came to the Farmers Mills Mission, which resulted in significant growth and the need to purchase property on Route 52. This led to the second building project and the construction of the facility we are in right now. In 1987, this building was completed, the facility on Farmers’ Mills Road was sold, and this growing body of believers changed their name to The Mission Church. Since Laura and I arrived in 1989 and assumed the pastorate in 1992, the Lord has continued adding to His church. Many souls have come to Christ, leaders have been raised up, missionaries sent out, and families discipled for Christ.

The facilities have continued to grow as well. By God’s rich provision, we witnessed the construction of DeSha Hall, the addition of the Academy wing, the expansion of our lobby and administrative space, upgrades to our sanctuary media, and significant improvements to our parking lot and grounds. And still, the best is yet to come!

We are also grateful to God for the robust financial health of The Mission Church. In 2023, our overall tithe income was $1,347,450 which is a 5.50 percent increase in tithing over last year. I cannot express how grateful and blessed I am by our congregation’s faithfulness to the biblical mandate of honoring God by returning His tenth. Although our nation’s economy has struggled, and many of our congregants have relocated outside of New York, the people of God who have remained here are faithful in their giving. Thank you for your generosity.

I am also pleased to report that in 2023 we continued to build our capital savings. Last year, in total, we received $323,398 from those who faithfully fulfilled their pledges. This enabled us, not only to maintain our regular mortgage payments but also to make accelerated payments totaling $89,960 toward mortgage principal. As of this writing, we have $216,838 currently on hand in our capital fund and a mortgage balance of $1,403,474. We thank God for His provision and your generosity which is enabling us to reduce our mortgage by over 14 years and save almost $1.8 million in interest.

While we thank God for this growth, we must remember that a “growing” church is not always a “healthy” church. Just like a physical body, it is possible for a church to be big—and flabby. Our goal is not to be a big church; our goal is to be a healthy church that is proclaiming Christ, training disciples, and raising leaders. Are we concerned about “numbers?”

Absolutely! The early church was always growing and increasing in numbers (and counting them). But true growth is not measured by the number of bodies in the seats, it’s measured by the number of disciples following Christ. Thank God that our church is a healthy, growing congregation of biblically-minded, cross-carrying, Jesus-loving, disciples.

Another area of blessing is in our Benevolence Ministry. Each year, during Career Consecration Sunday, we receive an offering that is designated for matters of benevolence in our church and community.

With so many families continuing to struggle financially, this fund has been an incredible blessing and tangible expression of God’s love to those in need. From this offering, and other donations in 2023, we received $35,603 to bring relief to people who are challenged financially. Please see Pastor Kathy’s report for more details.

The first area in which we have witnessed this health is in our attendance, membership, and ministry

LEAD PASTOR’S REPORT (cont’d) Home and Foreign Missions has always been a priority for our church and in 2023, we maintained the usual subsidy provided to missions from the general fund in the amount of $25,000. Additionally, missions was funded by generous pledges from our congregation in the amount of $60,459. From these provisions, we supported 34 home and foreign missionaries and national pastors with over $3,871 per month while also providing financial relief to many pastoral families in Cuba who continue to struggle in their nation’s failing economy. We also sent a construction team to Poland to build a church (led by Gerard D’Ambrosio), supported numerous orphans and displaced children in Africa through Nation Changers International (led by Laura Johnson), sent our youth ministry to conduct community outreach in Nairobi, Kenya (led by Pastor Dylan and Pastor Lizzy), and trained over 2,000 pastors and church leaders in Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda through Global Leadership Training. Thanks to our missions committee who work with me in this regard: Pastor Kathy Dana, Pastor Sandy Lebron, Gerard D’Ambrosio, and Laura Johnson. We are also grateful to have Jayne D’Ambrosio join our team this year.

Our congregation has been blessed tremendously by the ministries of both of these amazing leaders. We will miss Pastor Cris in the role of worship leader but be forever grateful for the impact he made on our worship culture as well as in the many lives that served under his leadership. As well, Pastor Sandy will be missed in her role of assimilation and discipleship. She did an exemplary job serving above and beyond in so many ways, that I cannot begin to list them. Of course, the quest for a Worship Pastor is ongoing as Shepherd’s Staff continues a nationwide search for candidates as we pray for God to bring the specific individual He has appointed to this role for such a time as this. Pastor Sandy’s duties fell to Pastor Linda who is now being assisted by Evelyn Bucolo in the areas of assimilation, discipleship, and coordination of the Connect Group Ministry. Please see Pastor Linda’s report for more details. Pastor Lizzy Johnson has stepped up to organize, direct, and oversee the dynamic monthly All In services on Wednesday night. I have been so blessed to see her grow as a leader, a prayer warrior, and a preacher of God’s Word. On that note, I would also like to acknowledge Pastor Lizzy’s husband, Pastor Dylan Johnson, who has done an incredible job leading our Youth Ministry. We have seen significant growth under his leadership, and I encourage you to read his report to see what God is doing.

As we all know, with this financial activity comes a huge accounting task and Wendy Catapano continues to serve with excellence. Words fail to express my appreciation for the competence she brings to our financial integrity and the excellence by which she serves.

While we give praise to God for His abundant provision, we also give honor to those whom God has used to advance the mission. This team does an amazing job pastoring, preaching, leading, and loving the people of our church and community. Without question, this team is THE BEST and I am honored to serve with this group of incredible servant-leaders. There are so many who have served so diligently, it’s impossible to thank them all. So, I wish to honor and thank you, the many people who comprise the ministries of our church: Royal Rangers, Girls Ministries, Ushers, Nursery Workers, Media Teams, Youth Leaders, Greeters, Welcome Center and Café Teams, Security Team, Worship Team, Children’s Church Workers, Connect Group Leaders, Soul Care Facilitators, Academy Teachers, and so many more (there’s not enough room in this paragraph to mention you all).

Thank you all for your labor, sacrifice, and diligence unto the Lord. It is because of you that this church is making such a huge impact in the Hudson Valley and the world.

Special appreciation goes to both Tricia Johnson and Terry Doyle as they complete their second consecutive terms and will be taking a mandated respite from the Board of Trustees. Tricia and Terry have brought amazing insight to our board and have been used by God to bring us to higher levels of integrity, credibility, impact, and effectiveness. As well, we need to appreciate our Deacon Ministry, led by Pastor Kathy Dana. Our deacons have done an incredible job overseeing requests for assistance, ministering to the needy, and serving those who find themselves in challenging circumstances.

Rob Stipak, Audio Director I would also like to acknowledge the incredible job that Michele Massi and her team of excellent teachers are doing in The Mission Church Academy—the best early childhood learning center in New York State. Every child, parent, and family who has come through our school will testify of the great impact made by our biblical emphasis and high standard of academic excellence—not to mention the love and care provided by our teachers. With a program like this, it’s no wonder it continues to grow. Our current enrollment is 129 children (with 6 on a waiting list) and 25 faculty, and we are looking forward to continued growth in the years to come. Thank you to the Educational Advisory Council (EAC) who meet regularly to oversee the Academy ministry: Tom Readyoff, Terry Doyle, Pastor Jason Higdon, Pastor Linda Schreck, and Michele Massi who serve with me on the EAC. Thanks also to Wendy Catapano for attending each meeting and providing valuable input.

Finally, as I look back to 2023, it is important to acknowledge one significant event that has become a part of our church’s identity: The Hudson Valley Leadership Summit. For more than a decade, “The Summit” has been the premier leadership training event of the Hudson Valley specifically designed for church workers and Christian leaders across all levels of ministry and leadership. Last year, Rev. Doug Clay, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, was our keynote speaker with over 30 workshop speakers and attended by nearly 400 leaders from across New York. I am so grateful to all our sponsors and Mission Church volunteers who served with excellence to make this an amazing event.

I wish to also acknowledge the excellent administrative staff that continues to meet the challenges of a busy church meeting the unique demands of our times.

These are dedicated, hardworking fellow laborers in Christ, who are also our employees laboring behind the scenes. Day after day, week after week, they faithfully

In closing, I wish to express love and appreciation to my partner and best friend, my wife Laura. With all the challenges and demands of this past year, I thank God for a wife who is a patient encourager and inspires my resolve to be the best husband, father, grandfather, pastor, and Christian that I can be.

At every turn in 2023, we saw the hand of the Lord lead and guide The Mission Church. 2023 brought with it changes on our pastoral staff, a reboot of our nursing home ministry, a refresh of the sanctuary with new carpeting, upgraded sound system, and new lighting, record enrollment at the Academy, many new faces and families on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, as well as blessing those moving out of the area, just to name a few of the changes.

With Pastor Sandy and Pastor Cris Lebron’s leaving in August 2023, the bulk of Pastor Sandy’s responsibilities have come under my ministry umbrella including Connect Groups, membership, baptisms, Welcome Center, greeters, and visitor follow-up. Hiring Evelyn Bucolo as my part-time assistant has been a tremendous win. She is an invaluable help, handling much of the administrative side of what Pastor Sandy did. I cannot emphasize enough what a blessing Evelyn is.

Additionally, with Pastor Cris leaving, our weekly worship experience has not missed a beat with our interim worship leaders: Eddy Chapdelaine, Abdiel Torres, and Robyn Stipak (youth). They, as well as the entire worship team/band, continue to usher in the manifest presence of God Sunday after Sunday, All In after All In. Thank you! We continue to seek out candidates for Worship Pastor and know that the Lord will send us His choice in His timing.

Serving as Executive Pastor affords me the opportunity to work closely with our pastoral team and department heads. You will not find a finer Lead Pastor than Pastor Gregg Johnson. We are blessed beyond measure at The Mission Church!

A personal ministry highlight this past year was traveling to Nairobi, Kenya, along with John, as one of the keynote speakers at Gospel Centre International’s Women’s Conference. It was a rich time of fellowship and ministry with over 1,000 women in attendance.

Lastly, a special thank you to my husband, John. He is a tremendous encourager, counselor, support, and life partner as together we fulfill God’s plan for our lives. We count it a great privilege to be part of The Mission Church family. John and I are grateful!

YOUTH PASTOR’S REPORT Hello Mission Church family!

To cap off our Summer, we sent a team of missionaries to Nairobi, Kenya. We partnered with the Youth Ministry at Gospel Center International.

Partnering with GCI Youth, we performed a basketball outreach where we ministered to the community around the GCI Central campus in the city of Nairobi. We also did children's ministry at the Jaho House Orphanage located on top of an apartment building in a densely populated part of Nairobi with puppet shows, crafts, songs, and a gospel presentation. We partnered with the Move Church, which is a church plant located in the slums of Nairobi. We provided ministry materials as well as training in children’s and youth ministry. These are just a handful of the amazing things that happened in Kenya, but I could fill a book with all the amazing things that we were blessed to be a part of. Thank you to GCI and the Move Church for allowing us to partner with you in ministry. Thank you to all the young missionaries and their parents who sent them, for your devotion to the global mission of God. And finally, thank you to The Mission Church congregation for being generous in supporting Youth Missions, participating in fundraisers, and lifting us up in prayer.

We made it through another year and 2023 is in the books. 2023 was a year of so many blessings and amazing ministry opportunities within The Mission Church Youth. I want to first thank our amazing team of volunteer leaders; thank you for pouring out for the next generation and putting up with me. You are all anointed men and women of God and I thank Him daily for you.

In January of 2023, we started off as we always do, with our Youth Kick-Off. Our theme was “Made Alive” where we discussed our resurrection in Jesus Christ.

We had games, inflatables, high-energy worship, and of course - the mechanical bull. It was a huge success, and we had a lot of new families join the youth ministry. In February, we again had a series on “Tough Topics.” We covered hot-button topics such as sexuality, gender, and the sanctity of life. Though the topics were uncomfortable, the students really latched onto what a proper Biblical worldview looks like.

Also, in the Winter, we relaunched our Fine Arts ministry. We had a small group of students who bravely put their gifts forward for the glory of God. We had sermons, dramas, instrumental ensembles, and much more. In the Spring, the Fine Arts team and youth ministry took a trip to Syracuse, New York for the NY Youth Convention. Our students competed in the Fine Arts Festival and triumphed. Our large drama was even featured on the main stage in the Fine Arts celebration service! The Convention all around was a major success; students were saved, delivered, and blessed to worship with thousands of students from around the state.

In the Fall, we had quite a concise program as students were getting back to school and sports were starting back up. We participated in a youth rally at the Gathering at Faith in Poughkeepsie, which was heavily attended by our group. We had a “Parent Meet n’ Greet” where we invited parents to hear about and see how things are done within the youth ministry. We had our Thanksgiving party where our leaders prepared homemade dishes and we enjoyed a big feast and packed boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We ended the year with a trip to the Brewster Ice Arena where we rented an ice rink and enjoyed some ice skating.

In the Spring, we also relaunched our connect group “Third Tuesday.” This connect group has been a huge success, and we continued through the Summer and into the Fall. We had great fellowship while playing games, eating pizza, and studying the Bible.

Thank you, Mission Church family, for putting your trust in the MC Youth. Your trust and commitment to the discipleship of the youth of The Mission Church is why we are able to have such a fruitful ministry.

Finally, I want to thank my gorgeous wife, Lizzy.

Thank you for being my partner in ministry and being my better half. God has spoiled me by sending you into my life as a woman of integrity and an anointed pastor.

The Summer was quite the highlight reel for the youth ministry. We had outdoor services where the youth could play games outside and have worship around a bonfire while enjoying roasted marshmallows and hamburgers. Our seniors had an amazing trip to Six Flags: Great Adventure which was a blast. We had a couple of sectional rallies where the youth were able to fellowship and worship with other youth from around the Hudson Valley.

Thank you church family for the ministry done and the memories made in 2023; now let's go get 2024!

CONGREGATIONAL CARE PASTOR’S REPORT I am grateful to serve the Lord as Congregational Care Pastor of The Mission Church. I have the opportunity to serve individuals and families in the church needing special attention and care from the pastoral team, the deacon ministry, and the church in general. I have the opportunity to mobilize team members to respond to congregant's needs in a timely and compassionate manner. Congregational care includes home, hospital, and rehab center visitations and phone calls, as well as facilitation of end-of-life ministry for funeral services and memorials. I also maintain the prayer chain when special prayer requests are received. The ministry provides memorial Bibles through the Gideons Bible Project upon the death of a loved one. The ministry provides gifts to families to welcome their newborn baby (disposable diapers on arrival!)

provides the funds for benevolence. Our church members, led by the Holy Spirit, have been very generous in supporting benevolence through this special offering, dedicating the work of their hands to the Lord, and impacting the world for His Kingdom.

The Mission Church congregation is the first priority of the Benevolence Ministry.

The philosophy of the Deacon Ministry is to give a "hand up" not a "hand out". The deacons compassionately disburse funds to those in need, with a focus toward discipleship, accountability, encouragement, growth, education, and guidance for the improvement of their financial future. In 2023, 12 households received direct benevolence assistance in times of need or crisis. The families also received encouragement from the deacons for guidance onto a pathway that would bring them out of their crisis to victory in Christ. The benevolence fund also supports The Mission Church Samaritan Ministry (a street outreach ministry facilitated by Ann and Terry Doyle).

The fund also supported both men's and youth scholarships for retreats and special events. Through benevolence, a scholarship is also available for college students studying for missions, ministry, and Bible study.

I lead the weekly pastoral care meeting with our pastors and our elder. The pastoral care team prays together for those in our church family overall as well as for those with specific needs. We learn of the needs of the congregation by direct contact from the congregation, or from online requests for the prayer chain. Every member of The Mission Church family is important to the pastors. Opportunities for ministry are coordinated through the pastoral care team.

Specific activities undertaken in 2023 by the ministry include: food pantry distribution of not only food staples, but also grocery store gift cards; service projects for small repairs in identified households; a total of 15 blessings to children for Back to School, and Christmas; Thanksgiving blessings to 13 identified households; donation to the Hoving Lioness and Lambs fundraiser; donation to Care Net Crisis Pregnancy Center in Poughkeepsie; donation to New York Ministry Network Thanksgiving and Christmas compassion projects; donation to Relay for Life in Brewster; donations to Samaritan’s Purse and Convoy of Hope for relief projects: Turkey earthquake, the Maui Fires, and Israel war relief; donation to Jacob's Hope efforts in Israel; gift baskets to East Fishkill police and fire departments for their faithful service. The Mission Church donated bibles to Eva Zagami's Bibles for Refugees project in Georgia, as well as 62 Spanish language bibles to the Poughkeepsie Children's Home at Christmas.

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." Galatians 6:10 An important part of my responsibilities is leading the Deacon and Benevolence Ministry. I report the activities of the Benevolence Ministry annually on Career Consecration Sunday. The deacons assist in discipleship and care needs by providing mentoring, prayer, encouragement, phone calls, visitations, advocacy, financial guidance, and service needs.

The deacons are Jayne and Gerard D'Ambrosio, Marisol and Steve Hoffmann, Jeanmarie and Rick Ranieri, and Pastor Jason Higdon. Pastor Jason joined the Deacon Ministry in 2023. We are grateful to the deacons for their commitment to serve in this vital ministry, providing compassionate ministry to those who come to benevolence in their time of need.

The deacons are lovers of Jesus and men and women of the highest integrity. I appreciate working with them.

By the grace of God and the generosity of The Mission Church, again in 2023, The Mission Church sponsored a desperately needed clean water well to the village of Nornyikpo, Ghana. The well will be dedicated "For the glory of God! Jesus, The Living

The well opened the door to plant a new church in the area and bring the people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ! A volunteer medical team from The Mission Church will visit Ghana in April 2024 to dedicate the two wells that we sponsored in 2022 and 2023. There will be medical and vision outreaches to the villages. Please consider donating reading and sunglasses for the outreach. Look for the collection box at the Welcome Center.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR’S REPORT “How can a young person stay on the path of purity?

By living according to Your word. I seek You with all my heart; do not let me stray from Your commands. I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.” Psalm 119: 9-11

The Mission Church believes the primary responsibility of discipling children belongs to their parents and our goal is to support and encourage family worship and devotions. Over the year we provided a Holy Week Devotional, Where’s the Word Summer Bible Reading Kit, and an Advent Devotional. Many Sundays the children take home a family devotion that coincides with that day’s message. Right Now Media access is available to all of the families of The Mission Church. Please reach out to me if you would like more information about this resource.

It is a privilege to submit this report for the Children’s Ministries of The Mission Church.

Children’s Ministries include Sunday morning Nursery, Preschool Children’s Church and Elementary Children’s Church, and Wednesday evening Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries.

Another goal is for the children to learn the value of serving others and sharing the gospel.

We participated in Operation Christmas Child, decorated canvas bags for Bibles for Refugees (a ministry founded by Missionary Kid Evangelina Zagami), and made goodie bags for children at the Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie.

At the beginning of each month, the Elementary Children’s Church (1st-5th graders) learn about a new country and the missionaries who serve there. We take an offering for BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge) on the first Sunday of the month. In 2023 we also covered several of the same series as were taught in the adult service including: Prayer & Fasting, Miracles of Jesus, 1 Timothy, and 1 Peter.

Our first annual Family Fun Day followed our Family Service in August. The afternoon was filled with bouncy houses, drones, a dunk tank, group games, food, and ice cream. I am so thankful for everyone who volunteered to make that a wonderful afternoon of fellowship and fun.

Our Preschool Children’s Church is designed for 3year-olds to kindergarteners. Each week they enjoy Radiant Life’s topical curriculum. They love worshipping Jesus together and often go home with special activity pages and crafts.

The year ended with our Family Christmas Service where the children celebrated Jesus’ birthday and performed the “Lights of Christmas”.

Our need for the nursery (infants to 2-year-olds) continues to grow, as our church families grow. We always have room for new volunteers to minister to these precious children. Special thanks to Jaime Manoskey, our nursery coordinator, who faithfully helps schedule and communicate with the nursery workers, train new volunteers, and keeps the nursery running smoothly.

Our team of over 70 adults and teenagers love children and pray that each one will follow Jesus all the days of their lives! I appreciate each one of you for your dedication and commitment to share the truth of the Bible with the next generation. It is a blessing to serve Jesus with you all!

Our Wednesday night team serves every week from September to June. In 2023, the Royal Rangers enjoyed the return of the Ranger Derby, several campouts, and sectional activities. Girls Ministries loved being a part of the sectional Tea with a King and attending the NYMD retreat at Kartrite Water Park. This Fall, we have had record registrations and are thankful for the over 120 boys and girls who are currently a part of these discipleship programs.

Thank you AJ Pandolfo, Senior Commander, and Irina Mikhaylova and Gini Ortiz, Girls Ministries Cocoordinators, for all you do to make Wednesday nights wonderful times of ministry.

ACADEMY DIRECTOR’S REPORT Outreach and Events The Academy children participated in events and outreach programs such as the National Day of Prayer, Jeans for Troops, Operation Christmas Child, Surprises to Our Veterans, Christmas Celebrations, and so much more! All of these fostered opportunities to share God’s Word with our families and community, some events reaching up to over two hundred people!

Praise God! One of our newest resource programs has assisted with the needs of various social and emotional growth within the classrooms, as the Academy collaborated with Guardian Revival’s Dog Therapy Team! What a blessing!

“Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.” (Psalm 145:3-4) It is a privilege to share that the Academy has now reached its 20th year of success. All through His faithfulness, and the teams of people dedicated to early childhood development, academic excellence, and foundations in faith, the core piece to our program.

This past year, the Academy continued to offer comprehensive academic support and special individualized services to our students. The Academy continues to be recognized by our local school district as a “school of excellence.” Not only do our students historically thrive beyond standardized expectations, but they additionally prove to remain positioned to succeed as they progress in their educational journey.

There are so many more testimonies and daily events to what God has done and is continuing to do here at the Academy, too much to share; yet, forever grateful!

Looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do in the 2024-2025 school year as we plan strategically and seek Him in all we do!

At this time, I would like to thank our amazing team of twenty-five who served alongside all for His glory.

Academy families have grown to love and appreciate you, as do we for all you do! Thank you especially for taking care of so many details and needs within the Academy, going beyond the call!

Highlights to share!

Workforce Retention Grant The Academy was able to attain a significant grant under the Workforce Retention Grant in the amount of $92,750.00! Praise God! This blessed and benefited many of our employees who were to receive such.

Enrollment & Programs The school year began in September with 125 students and at the time of this report, we have a total of 130 students: record enrollment! Praise God! The Academy programs have doubled in size as we have strategically arranged space to provide additional four-year-old, three-year-old, and school-age classrooms. There is even a waiting list for almost all programs! Our interactive Chapel time with Pastor Dylan has proved to be a time of excitement and engaged learning experiences. Thank you, Pastor Dylan, for your heartfelt dedication to assisting, and guiding our children, our staff, and their families! We appreciate you! This past June, the Academy has been blessed to graduate thirty-three students!

Summer Programs once again proved to be another impressive and profitable time with opportunities to share the gospel with our community. Our children's church programs have played an integral part here at the Academy as upwards of ten students and their families have regularly participated in our boys’ and girls’ ministries as well as Sunday services this past year: praise God!

A special thanks to Pastor Gregg, Pastor Linda, and all the Pastors and leadership of our church; the Educational Advisory Council, Board of Trustees, Wendy Catapano, and Audrey Bogert, who have been a wonderful support and are always ready to assist, lend a helping hand and a prayer, and to so many others who play such a vital role in supporting the Academy. I would like to, of course, extend my deepest love and sincere appreciation to my family, for all their love, support, patience, and prayers throughout this journey! To God be all the glory!
