FROM OUR PRESIDENT

In 2025, we witnessed God move through our global ministry partners, local missionaries, and generous supporters like you. Because of your prayers and faithful support, people across Africa and Asia experienced the hope of Christ in tangible ways

Through your partnership, communities received medical care, girls gained opportunities in education, churches were planted and strengthened, and families encountered reconciliation and restoration. In each of these stories, the gospel is at work powerfully in places where hope once felt out of reach.

Every step forward this year reminds us why we do this work Lives are being transformed Leaders are being equipped Entire communities are taking meaningful strides toward long-term sustainability and a deeper understanding of God’s love.

As we enter 2026, our commitment remains the same: to bring glory to God and honor to all people by helping communities around the world look more like the Kingdom of God.

Thank you for standing with us. Your generosity continues to make a lasting impact that will bless generations to come

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” –1 Corinthians 15:58

With gratitude,

Kijabe, Kenya July 2025

Our mission is to partner with the Global Church in making communities look more like the Kingdom of God.

We envision a world where every community is transformed for the glory of God and the honor of all peoples.

W h o W e A r e & W h a t W e D o

Mission ONE exists to see communities transformed to look more like the Kingdom of God, spiritually, physically, and sustainably through the local church.

We Partner with Local Leaders

We build deep, trusting relationships with missionaries and leaders who are already serving within their own cultural contexts Through ongoing training, encouragement, and support, we strengthen the local church from within

We Multiply Faith Communities

We help believers come together as the body of Christ to make disciples and live out the gospel in everyday life. These faith communities take shape within local cultures and continue multiplying throughout generations

We Walk with Communities Toward Wholeness

Alongside local faith communities, we address real spiritual and physical needs We support healing in ways that restore dignity and build resilience The result is communities that are healthier, more hopeful, and equipped to thrive long-term.

*DeemedNotViable

After careful prayer, assessment, and collaboration with local leadership, some project ideas are determined not to be viable. This may be due to sustainability concerns, capacity limitations, contextual challenges, or misalignment with long-term impact goals.

2025 Projects by Type

What happens after longterm impact is

met?

When long-term impact is met, our partnerships continue. We shift from direct support to collaborative sustainability efforts and new opportunities to reach additional communities together.

At Mission ONE, our ultimate goal is to see more people transformed by the gospel. We believe the most effective way to achieve this is by empowering missionaries to bring lasting change in their own communities. Still, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to ministry; each community has unique needs and opportunities.

In some places, that means launching a small business to generate income that sustains local missionaries, leading to more churches planted where none exist. In others, the most pressing need may be a school or medical clinic, which opens the door to sharing the love of Christ in impactful ways. Whether through economic development, vocational skills training, education, healthcare, or providing relief in times of crisis, our philosophy remains the same.

By equipping and supporting missionaries on the ground, we can meet real needs, plant churches where there are none, break cycles of poverty, and see the gospel take root in ways that are sustainable and transformative.

PHILOSOPHY OF Together MINISTRY

WE CAN TRANSFORM COMMUNITIES FROM THE INSIDE OUT.

Pastor Wilfred

FROM VISION TO GLOBAL IMPACT

30+ years of God’s faithfulness

Mission ONE was founded in 1991 by Bob Schindler, an American traveling evangelist. In 1988, Bob was invited to teach on the subject of evangelism at a Bible college in Kenya. The missionary who invited Bob told him,

“You will be a blessing. But while you are here, listen. Learn what it’s like to live as a Kenyan.”

Bob took his advice and met Pastor Wilfred Githongo, who was from a nearby village. Wilfred had heard the gospel, decided to follow Christ, and had planted a church. Previously, Western missionaries had not been able to start a church in Wilfred’s village. The contrast in cultures was too great. Bob thought, “There must be some way to help these local leaders They can share the love of Christ in their cultures in ways I cannot ” With that, Mission ONE was born

More than three decades later, that early partnership is still bearing fruit. Wilfred’s son, Zack, reflects on the impact of his father’s ministry and Mission ONE’s role in their journey:

“Rev Wilfred, my dad, has immensely impacted the building of the Kingdom, having brought tens of thousands to Christ through evangelism, baptism, church building, medical care, and compassion He has served faithfully for over 38 years despite financial, cultural, community, and spiritual challenges.

The partnership with Mission ONE that began in 1991 has made it possible for his ministry to succeed through support, training, and encouragement Bob, my godfather, has been a pillar in our ministry and family life

Their humility and love inspired me to join the ministry and carry this work forward I pray that with Mission ONE, the legacy that began 34 years ago will continue to grow for the glory of God.”

–Zack, son of Rev. Wilfred Githongo
Bob Schindler teaching in Kenya in 1988.

LIGHT IN THE NATIONS OF ASIA

Across Asia, many communities still have little to no access to the gospel, discipleship, education, or basic resources This is why our work in this region matters. By partnering with local ministry leaders who understand the culture and the needs of their own people, we are helping bring the hope of Christ to places that have been unreached for generations. Through church planting, discipleship, and meeting real needs, we’re strengthening local churches and supporting communities as they move toward longterm transformation and a deeper understanding of God’s love.

Approximately 3 billion people remain unreached in Asia alone.1

“Our vision is to see a church in every village and colony of every town and city of our nation. There’s nothing too hard for the Lord.”
–Malini, Mission ONE partner and President of the local Bible college in Chennai, India

From training to testimony in Chennai

Arun came from a quiet village in India where the gospel had never been heard He first encountered the message of Christ during a Christmas program in a nearby community The story of Jesus awakened a deep hunger for truth and led him to a church 20 kilometers from home, where he gave his life to Christ.

His decision came with great opposition. Arun was beaten by nine men from his village and repeatedly warned not to attend church Even so, he remained steadfast and continued to share the hope he had found Through his perseverance, his parents and seven extended family members came to faith, and a small worship gathering began in their home despite growing hostility.

Arun operates a small rice mill and uses every interaction with customers as an opportunity to share the gospel Wanting to grow in his ministry, he joined the nonformal training program at our local ministry leader’s Bible college. This training is equipping him to disciple others and courageously serve his community. With renewed strength and vision, Arun is committed to establishing five worshipping communities in the next three years. Praise the Lord!

Each year, more than 5,000 pastors are trained at our partner’s local Bible college.

–Malini, Mission ONE partner and President of the local Bible college in Chennai, India

Church Planting across India

From darkness to disciples in Andhra Pradesh

“I started ministry in a very remote tribal village This village was full of mafia people, thieves, and criminals In the beginning, there were many threats It was not easy, but when the gospel started penetrating the hearts of the people, things began to change They gave up their old life and became a new kind of people The whole community started changing.

Now the Lord is raising pastors and evangelists from this same community Many of the young people are on fire for God They want to serve Him and share the gospel with others What was once a place of fear is now becoming a place of hope ”

–Pastor KP, Our leader serving in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana

Pastor KP oversees a network of 120 pastors and has planted a total of 127 churches across India

Pastor Passang visiting one of the two villages he serves

Sharing Christ’s love in Sikkim

Pastor Passang, one of our newest local partners, leads with both grace and humility in Sikkim, India.

He is serving two villages that are often overlooked. One has about 30 people, the other about 50 Until recently, no one there had ever heard the name of Jesus Today, because of Pastor Passang’s faithfulness, there are three believers in one village and 10 to 15 in the other.

He doesn’t come as an outsider. There’s no hierarchy. He laughs with them and shares meals with them. Each week, he drives long hours, sometimes more than two, to spend time with these communities.

One of them is his hometown, where he feels a deep call to return and share the hope of Christ Now, he’s preparing to start home churches there

Because Pastor Passang said yes to God’s call, entire villages are being introduced to the gospel for the very first time.

“I would like to say thank you to Mission ONE for officially visiting my ministry in Sikkim and declaring us as official Partner of Mission ONE May the good Lord bless Mission ONE’s vision and mission to reach the unreached people of the world with love of Christ ”

Equipping Pastors for Gospel Impact in Indonesia

Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world, with 165 unreached people groups and more than 180 million people who have never heard the Gospel.

There are only about 1,000 missionaries from all mission agencies across Indonesia serving among the unreached

Damar (name changed for safety) grew up on a far island in Indonesia where his family identified as Christian, although he had little understanding of the faith

In 1998, a violent conflict broke out between religious groups, and Damar spent two years defending his community. During this time he became involved in ancestral rituals and black magic. He lived a destructive lifestyle of drinking, gambling, and fighting.

For his safety, his father later sent him to another region of Indonesia There, Damar met a group of young believers whose lives were unlike any he had seen Their sincerity and faith drew him in.

After joining their soccer team and attending their church, he began learning what it truly meant to follow Jesus. In September 2000, he accepted Christ as his Savior and was baptized.

Damar pursued theological training and later joined a cross-cultural ministry program. God softened his heart toward the very people he once viewed as enemies, and he faithfully served among them for several years.

Today, Damar and his wife have been ministering to an unreached people group for 13 years through teaching, small businesses, discipleship, and house churches Praise God for the fruit He continues to bring through their ministry

WHERE LEARNING LEADS TO HOPE

What began with 17 girls has grown to over 200

2021

2025

What an incredible difference YOU’ve made!

Construction for the girls’ dorm has begun, thanks to your support!

in Pokot, Kenya

The All Girls School began as a direct response to the challenges girls in the community were facing For many years, early marriage, limited access to education, and cultural expectations kept most girls out of school. Pastor Willy, our local ministry leader, envisioned a safe place where girls could learn, grow, and pursue a different future. The school started with simple classrooms, very few supplies, and just 17 students. Some of these girls had run away from home to escape early marriage, and others were already young mothers but still determined to continue their education

We are deeply grateful for your support, which has allowed this vision to grow beyond its early beginnings and become a source of real hope in the community.

Today, that vision is coming to life The school has expanded, enrollment continues to rise, and more families are choosing to send their daughters to receive secondary education The first class of 17 girls has now graduated, many of them the first in their families and villages to do so. Their achievement has become a powerful example to the community of what education can make possible. The school is now a place of safety, confidence-building, and academic growth Parents who once expected their daughters to marry young are now advocating for their education The school is not only improving learning outcomes It’s helping shift long-standing beliefs, opening doors for girls, and steadily changing how the community views the future of its daughters.

Today, over 200 girls are enrolled at the school! Thank you for making a tangible difference in the lives of girls in Pokot You are helping create opportunities that will continue to impact the community for years to come!

The Beginning of a New Story

This is Joy and her young daughter.

Joy is one of the 17 graduates from the All Girls School Her story speaks to the power of education and resilience

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Joy became pregnant and was forced into marriage But she refused to let her circumstances define her. She sought help from her teacher, one of our missionaries, who made arrangements to keep her safe. Joy stayed in school while raising her child, and now, she’s enrolled in university. She is the first in her community to do so!

OCALLEADER

“Educating a girl among the community in Pokot, Kenya is a precious opportunity for the Good News of Jesus Christ because she will become a light and a source of hope in the society ”

–Willy, Our leader in Pokot who started this school with a vision to see redemption for young girls in his community

She is redeemed, valued, educated, confident, hopeful, seen, and prepared for her future.

A PATHWAY TO EMPOWERMENT

Faith expressed through skill and craft

Womenequippedwithsewingskills

The graduates from the Sewing Ministry in Eldoret, Kenya November 2025

For many women in Kenya, learning vocational skills like sewing becomes the beginning of a new story. What starts as practical training often becomes a pathway out of cycles of addiction, insecurity, and discouragement. As women gain confidence and the ability to earn an income, they begin providing for their families with dignity and seeing themselves as capable and redeemed in Christ.

Janet, Our leader in Kenya who oversees the Sewing Ministry in Eldoret

Evaline’s Story of Restoration

Evaline, 47, is a mother of three who has walked through deep loss and hardship. Married as a second wife and later widowed, she turned to brewing and selling alcohol simply to survive. After losing her mother to cancer, Evaline longed for a fresh start and the chance to rebuild her life.

She is one of the 15 women who entered the Sewing Ministry in Eldoret in January, and later graduated in November Through the program, Evaline learned tailoring skills and discovered new possibilities for herself and her family. With each lesson, her confidence grew, and she began to envision a future shaped not by her past struggles, but by opportunity and hope.

Today, Evaline is embracing her new skills and taking bold steps toward stability and transformation Her journey reflects the heart of the ministry: restoring dignity, strengthening families, and helping individuals step into the future God has prepared for them.

“I was not able to care for my needs. I would drink alcohol throughout the day I didn’t even have time for kids But I appreciate Janet looking for me

She talked to me and I accepted the calling Now I come to church and I even know how to tailor I can tailor well and make clothes and I continue going to church ”

Eldoret, Kenya

Sarah’s Story of Hope and Independence

Sarah’s journey is a beautiful example of how empowerment creates lasting transformation. After completing her training through the Sewing Ministry in Kijabe Town, Kenya, Sarah stepped out in faith and opened her own tailoring business What began as a simple skill became a source of stability and hope for her family

During our visit to Kijabe Town, our team had the joy of meeting Sarah and seeing her shop firsthand. With steady hands and a warm smile, she shared how the sewing ministry equipped her not only with practical skills, but also with the confidence to build something of her own To support her work, our team even purchased several handmade items during our partner visit in the summer and witnessed the excellence and care she pours into her craft.

Today, Sarah’s tailoring shop stands as a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Through her work, she is providing for her family, serving her community, and inspiring others to pursue their God-given potential Praise God for stories like Sarah’s that continue to ripple outward with hope

What’s next

The ministry in Eldoret is already preparing for its second cohort. This next group will include 15 women receiving training in sewing and five men being trained in barbering, with the program set to begin in January 2026

Extending opportunity to both men and women

Both ministries in Eldoret and Kijabe Town are expanding their programs to include men and boys, offering training in barbering and other vocational skills like welding. By equipping men alongside women with practical skills, these ministries are creating pathways for sustainable livelihoods that strengthen families, empower communities, and provide hope for future generations

Mission ONE team visiting Sarah’s shop in Kijabe Town, Kenya June 2025

In Kijabe Town, a new cohort is also scheduled to launch in January 2026, serving 12 young women and 12 young men. The young women will be trained in sewing, while the young men will learn the skilled trade of welding, equipping them with practical tools for sustainable livelihoods.

COMMUNITIES BUILT TO LAST

Community development entails walking patiently and intentionally with local churches and leaders as they work to transform the places they call home. Real transformation is never the result of quick fixes. It grows out of listening, learning, and building trust. This is because it takes time to understand what a community truly needs.

Over the last 30 years, we have seen again and again that the most meaningful change happens when we come alongside a community rather than coming to it with predetermined solutions

When local churches are strengthened and supported with long-term vision, they become places where the gospel is lived out daily and where Kingdom transformation continues long after a project ends. Our hope is to invest in work that endures, so the seeds planted today grow into generational transformation shaped by God’s goodness

Why holistic development and sustainable impact matter
“It does no good to plant churches, unless those churches are transforming the community.”

Supporting Families Through Sustainable Livelihoods

Musahar Village, Nepal

Here’s a story of transformation in the Musahar village, a community often marginalized and forgotten Meet Ditya (name changed for safety), a young woman from this village, who recently achieved something extraordinary. She became the first person in her community to complete high school.

Before our local ministry leader’s intervention, children in the Musahar village were reluctant to attend school That changed when our missionaries began building relationships with families in the community

Through counseling sessions and ongoing mentorship, parents began to understand the value of education. Ditya shared how this shift has led to significantly improved school attendance, and how parental involvement is now playing a key role in their children’s success

This transformation didn’t happen overnight What began with listening and relationship-building has grown into lasting transformation rooted in the local church. The story of the Musahar community is not defined by a single achievement, but by steady progress shaped through trust, faith, and long-term commitment Through God’s grace, this community is now moving toward stability, hope, and a future shaped by the gospel.

“When the local church sees the need of their community and becomes a part of the solution, it can bring lasting change ”

–Our leaders in Nepal

When Mission ONE first began walking alongside the Musahar community in southern Nepal, daily life was marked by instability and survival. Families lived near the jungle, facing frequent flooding, dangerous wildlife, and extreme poverty. Work was scarce, addiction was common, and education was largely dismissed as unnecessary or unrealistic The village had no local church, and children were often pulled out of school to help support their families

Rather than arriving with quick solutions, local missionaries began by earning trust within the community. Over time, doors began to open to deeper conversations about family and faith.

Clean water was made accessible. Homes received new roofs. Livelihood programs such as goat and duck rearing helped families earn income and meet daily needs Women participated in a sewing ministry, gaining skills that allowed them to support their households with dignity. Four home churches were planted, addiction and alcoholism decreased, and more children began attending school consistently.

The Cave People of Nepal

From caves to community stability

The Chepang people, often called the “Cave People,” live in south-central Nepal and include about 175 families. When Mission ONE began partnering with this community in 2009, many families were living in caves or temporary shelters with little access to income or basic services

After a devastating flood displaced families and deepened their vulnerability, the focus shifted beyond short-term relief toward rebuilding in ways that could last.

Together with local leaders, housing was established and sustainable livelihood projects were introduced, including farming and goat rearing More than four years later, these efforts continue to provide steady income and food security

In the summer of 2025, buffalo were distributed to some of the most marginalized households, creating new income opportunities and strengthening long-term resilience.

Preparing Land for LongTerm Impact

Laying the Groundwork for Sustainable Coffee

The coffee project’s progress was slowed by ongoing government restrictions that made receiving funds difficult for our local partners We prayerfully worked together to find safe ways to move forward Funds were eventually received successfully, the land was secured, and the next phase of the project began. In the summer of 2025, we traveled into remote mountain villages where families gathered to learn how to cultivate coffee as a long-term source of income. One hundred families received young coffee plants and handson training, laying the groundwork for future harvests This project reflects our vision for sustainability By creating reliable livelihoods, the coffee project helps strengthen families, support local ministry, and cultivate long-term stability

BUILDING SUSTAINABLE MINISTRY

Two car rental projects providing income for ministry needs

LEDBY

This vehicle rental project in Eldoret, Kenya, has become a major milestone in sustainability for our partner organization there What began as a transportation need has grown into a profitable business that now fully supports ministry operations. The project has expanded to five vehicles, created seven consistent jobs, and generates over $1,500 in monthly profit. Using its own income, the business is already preparing to purchase a sixth vehicle.

Because of this project, the local ministry no longer depends on regular operational support from Mission ONE. Expenses for office space, staff salaries, missionary support, and program costs for the Sewing Ministry are fully covered by the income generated from this small business In addition, plans are underway to launch a car wash to further strengthen long-term sustainability

–Sammy, who works alongside Janet in Eldoret, Kenya and oversees the car rental project there

The car rental launched with Mission ONE support in Togo is a growing example of sustainable ministry in action Launched in January 2023 with a single vehicle, the project began generating income immediately, averaging $100 per week.

By the end of the year, your support of Mission ONE allowed us to help purchase a second car for this project. With consistent daily rental income, the ministry has reduced its reliance on ongoing operational support, freeing up resources to continue equipping and supporting more than 150 pastors.

Looking ahead, plans include adding a third vehicle, strengthening operations, and raising up younger leaders to help manage and expand the business These efforts help to ensure long-term sustainability and lasting impact

“We thank God for Mission ONE’s vision Today, we can say that the car business is the best it’s been We believe the future is very bright Glory be to God!”

HEALTH AND HEALING IN ACTION

Pokot, Kenya

Joan is a dedicated nurse serving the remote community of Pokot, Kenya, where she provides essential medical care while embodying the love of Christ. With a deep passion for both physical healing and spiritual transformation, she sees her role as more than a profession it’s a ministry.

As she tends to the sick, Joan creates natural opportunities to share the gospel, offering hope and encouragement to those seeking treatment Her compassionate care opens doors for meaningful conversations, allowing her to minister to patients and their families in times of need.

Through her service, Joan, pictured here, is a light in her community, bringing both healing and the message of Christ’s love to those who need it most.

Her unwavering dedication continues to transform lives, both physically and spiritually

This past year, your generosity towards Mission ONE supported the renovation and resourcing of three medical clinics operated by our partner in Pokot. Infrastructure improvements were completed, empty shelves were restocked, and new medicines and supplies were delivered. The clinics were also equipped with essential diagnostic tools, including two X-ray machines, an eye machine, and an eyeglass machine This ministry now operates five clinics serving thousands of patients each month

Since opening, they see an average of 10 patients per day.

The clinic is led by Zack and his wife, Eunice. Eunice holds a master’s degree in nursing, and Zack previously worked as a nurse before entering full-time ministry

Together, they are providing affordable medical care while working toward long-term sustainability for the local ministry. This clinic not only meets urgent health needs, but also strengthens the ministry’s capacity to serve the community for years to come.

KINGDOM IMPACT AT A GLANCE

At Mission ONE, we believe the Church is not a building It is the people of God, living out the Gospel in their own communities.

Around the world, church looks different from place to place. In some communities, believers gather under a tree. In others, they meet in homes, simple structures, or shared spaces. Worship may sound different Teaching may look different

Culture shapes how faith is expressed Yet across every context, the Church remains the same at its core: the body of Christ, united by faith in Jesus and called to make Him known.

This is why Mission ONE partners with local pastors and leaders to plant churches that are rooted in their communities and led by those God has already called We do not export a model of church Instead, we come alongside local leaders to provide training, encouragement, and accountability We do this so churches can grow in ways that are biblically sound and culturally meaningful.

Church planting is ultimately about people, not programs. It is about disciples being made, leaders being equipped, and communities being transformed by the hope of the Gospel

Through long-term partnership, these churches become places of worship, teaching, and living expressions of God’s Kingdom. Together with our local leaders, these churches meet both spiritual and physical needs, ultimately reflecting His redemptive power at work in these communities.

A MINISTRY MULTIPLIED AND GROWING

Pastor Thomas and a Movement of Missionaries

One of Mission ONE’s newer partnerships grew from an existing relationship and is now led locally by Pastor Thomas What began as one ministry under Pastor Pious in South Sudan has become two distinct organizations, allowing Kingdom impact to expand further into Uganda.

Today, Pastor Thomas leads a team of 15 missionaries serving across refugee camps in seven regions of Uganda, bringing the gospel alongside practical pathways for sustainability

Several of the micro-project leaders and their families serving across refugee settlements in Uganda

Hope Carried into Uganda’s Refugee Camps

“We as the Church must fight poverty, hunger, and dependency so that each family has food on the table to share with members and to continue to advance the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in heaven ”

To further strengthen long-term sustainability, eight of Pastor Thomas’ missionaries have begun developing micro-projects of their own. These small initiatives are designed to help local leaders support their families while continuing to serve their communities faithfully

By creating sustainable income streams, these missionaries are better positioned to remain in ministry and expand gospel outreach into new areas These micro-projects are opening doors for deeper relationships, consistent presence, and new opportunities to share the message of Jesus across Uganda.

PEmpowering Families through Poultry Farming

In the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement, Pastor Thomas began the chicken project after seeing families struggle daily with hunger and lack of income As he planted three local churches in the camp, it became clear that spiritual care and practical needs could not be separated.

The chicken project started as a simple, locally led effort to help meet basic needs. Today, the project employs ten people from the settlement and helps families access food and steady income

TA path to stability

Beyond direct employment, the chicken project has become a catalyst for small business opportunities among refugees. Families are able to purchase chickens at an affordable price, roast them themselves, and sell them within their communities, creating income, dignity, and pathways toward self-reliance

When water became a challenge, a well was dug to support the project. It is now the only clean water source for the surrounding community, serving both the chicken farm and nearby families. What began as a livelihood effort has also become a place where people gather, connect, and hear about the hope found in Christ

Grace’s Story Made Possible

The chicken project has done more than create income. It has helped send seven of Pastor Thomas’ children to school, opening doors that once felt closed for families in the community.

One of those children is Pastor Thomas’ daughter, Grace.

Because of the steady income from the chicken project, Grace was able to attend school, complete her education, and graduate. After taking her senior year exams, her scores were ranked the second highest in all of Uganda!

Recognized for her strong academic performance, Grace was selected for sponsorship and her tuition has been covered by several Christian-led foundations

Now living away from home for the first time, she is adjusting to university life with growing independence. She is studying Business Administration, and doing very well in her studies.

Grace’s story reflects the heart of sustainable ministry. What began as a local poultry project is now shaping a young woman’s future and laying a foundation for generational impact Through education and opportunity, her life, and the lives of those she will one day serve, are being transformed.

As Grace continues her university journey, we invite you to join us in prayer for wisdom, provision, and strength as she grows into the calling God has placed on her life.

To date, the Chicken Project has enabled over 10 children in the Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement to receive an education.

Beyond the chicken project, Pastor Thomas is training others in the community to start sustainable projects of their own. He works closely with individuals and families, sharing practical skills and guiding them in stewardship and faith. These moments of training often become opportunities for prayer, encouragement, and discipleship

As people learn how to build small income-generating projects, they also hear about the hope found in Christ. This hands-on approach helps families move toward stability while creating opportunities for the gospel to be shared through everyday life.

What’s Next for the Chicken Project

The chicken project continues to grow, creating even more opportunities for families in the community.

The next step is the construction of a new chicken coop dedicated specifically to hens laying eggs, which will allow the project to expand into egg production and sales. This expansion will provide additional income for families, increase access to nutritious food, and create more small business opportunities for refugees and community members. By diversifying the project, Pastor Thomas and his team are ensuring that the initiative continues to be a sustainable source of livelihood and a multiplying impact for years to come.

RELIEF AND RESTORATION IN TIMES OF NEED

Life-saving flood relief in India

Meeting immediate needs while fostering lasting hope

Relief is intended to be short-term, specific, and urgent. However, it’s our long-term efforts and trusting connections with missionaries already serving on the ground that best position us to respond both immediately and intentionally

Even though our vision is set on longterm, community-wide sustainability, providing immediate relief in times of crisis is a crucial opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. In this process, our missionaries are able to build relationships with those they bring relief to, offering prayer and an invitation to both the hope of the gospel and the community found in the local church.

All of this points back to the lasting impact of making communities look more like the Kingdom. When one life is saved, when one life is turned towards Jesus on the cross and his redeeming hope, this makes an impact not just in the here and now, but in future generations as well

In India, the need for relief was impossible to ignore Floodwaters in Vijayawada washed through homes where many families escaped with only what they could carry.

In early 2025, we launched a campaign to come alongside one of our local partner’s in India who was seeking ways to support flood victims in the rural village of Vijayawada With your support, we were able to send $20,000 for emergency relief, allowing his team to distribute food, blankets, and essential items to families who lost homes, belongings, and livelihoods This support met immediate needs, strengthened local churches as centers of compassion, and reminded families that they are not forgotten.

Responding to ongoing conflict and displacement

In South Sudan, ongoing conflict continues to displace families and strain communities already facing extreme hardship.

One of our local partners there, Pastor Pious, is faithfully serving in the midst of this crisis. He, along with his wife and seven children, live near a bus stop where displaced families often arrive with nothing but the clothes they are wearing Specifically, their home is a five-minute walk away from the bus stop.

Day after day, people come to his doorstep seeking food, safety, and prayer. With your support, we were able to recently send $4,000 to help meet these urgent needs This support provided essential supplies and the assurance that even in the midst of conflict, God has not forgotten them Praise God for the light shining through His Church in such difficult circumstances!

“Truly God has answered our prayers by touching the donors to extend a helping hand to the hunger affected in South Sudan. I give thanks to the donors, may God bless them abundantly ”

TRAINING THAT MULTIPLIES IMPACT AROUND THE WORLD

What this looks like and why it matters

Ongoing training opportunities are essential for the health and growth of the local church. When pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders are equipped with a strong foundation in Scripture and sound teaching, they are better prepared to guide their communities with wisdom, clarity, and truth.

Training creates space for leaders to grow in their understanding of God’s Word, sharpen their ministry skills, and remain grounded in the gospel as they serve in challenging and diverse contexts

By investing in continuous learning, we help ensure that the local church is not only growing, but growing in a way that is rooted in biblical truth and capable of standing firm for generations.

“Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.” –1 Timothy 4:16

In 2025, we helped provide six group training opportunities for our leaders and network of missionaries.

Gathering missionaries and church leaders in Eldoret

The Kenya Missionary Conference took place from June 4–7, 2025, bringing together missionaries and leaders from across Kenya and neighboring countries for a time of training, encouragement, and fellowship All Kenya partner missionaries were invited to attend. A total of 23 members from the team in Eldoret participated, including 16 missionaries and 7 leaders and guests. From Kijabe Town, 16 members attended, made up of 12 missionaries and 4 leaders. The Pokot team was represented by 15 participants, including 12 missionaries and 3 leaders

In addition, eight Mission ONE team members attended, including our Board Chairman, along with two members from Orchard Church who shared teaching during the conference. Mission partners from Kenya, as well as neighboring countries including Sudan and Uganda, were also present. It was a powerful time of fellowship for everyone who attended, creating space for missionaries to learn from one another’s ministries, share experiences, and be encouraged by the work God is doing in different contexts. Through shared training, teaching from the Word, and meaningful conversations, participants were strengthened and reminded that they are part of a larger body working together to advance the gospel

Joined by a trusted partner and friend of Mission ONE

“Mission ONE has been a trusted partner for several years as we share a common vision to see the gospel reach the hardest-to-reach places around the world. This past June, I had the privilege of attending a missionary conference in Kenya, led by Mission ONE’s local partner in Eldoret While there, I was deeply encouraged by the faith and dedication of our brothers and sisters who are giving their all to bring the hope of Christ to their communities Their commitment and the transformative power of the gospel are truly changing lives ”

–Pastor Ross McGregor, Missions Pastor at The Orchard Church, North Carolina

Pastor Ross joined us in Eldoret at the missionary conference and shared a word of encouragement with our leaders.

Voices of Faith: Stories from the Conference

“My name is Reverend Alex Yauma. I am born again, and I have received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior I come from Kijabe Maimajio, where I serve under the NEO ministry [Kijabe Town, Kenya] I am married and blessed with four children

Our church is the youngest church within the NEO mission. We are about one and a half years old and currently have 30 members. We thank God for His faithfulness recently, someone donated a piece of land where we are preparing to construct a church building.

We praise God for what He is doing in our city Maimajio is a place facing many challenges, including corruption and sin, but God has called us to preach the gospel there so that lives may be transformed Many people are coming to know Jesus, and we are seeing change

We are happy to serve in this community. I am also very grateful to Mission ONE for visiting our church. We thank God that President Olivia prayed for the congregation, the church, and its development.

I thank God so much for Mission ONE and for the missionary work we are doing in this place May God bless Mission ONE, and may God bless missionaries around the world and here in Kenya I praise Jesus’ name Amen ”

“My name is Pastor Miriam Njaru, and I’m born again. I love the Lord for saving me and sustaining my salvation. I am married and blessed with two children. I minister in Thika, Kiambu County, Kenya where I work with children, youth, teenagers, and women.

Ministry has always been a calling and a passion for me, and I felt God placing this desire to serve people in my heart from a young age

I started ministering to youth back at Kijabe, teaching them God’s Word and singing to share His love. Many people loved what I was doing and wanted to be part of it. I felt the call strongly and knew I needed to learn more, so I joined Bible school to study theology.

Now, as I minister, when people see me, they see God in the way I share His Word and His love, and I see lives being changed ”

What is orality training?

“Orality is actually a method of teaching through story telling This is the best method of teaching the Bible to people who cannot read and write. They are encouraged to memorize Bible stories and tell it to others the way it is without adding other influence

During the course, each pastor was able to memorize Bible chapters verse-by-verse and presented them well By the end of the fourth day, each one was able to stand before the church and preach using memorized Bible stories and verses.”

–Willy, Local leader of our partner ministry in Pokot who is overseeing this training

Localpastorsreceivingoralitytrainingtoreachtheir communitieswitheternalhope

In July 2025, Mission ONE partnered with Scriptures in Use to host an orality training for non-literate and semi-literate Pokot leaders focused on evangelism and church planting. The training took place during the last week of July at the Kamila pastor training center in Pokot Joseph Agali, one of Scripture in Use’s leaders, led the training, equipping local leaders with tools to share the gospel and teach Scripture through oral storytelling methods that fit their context

During the visit, Joseph and our local ministry leader Willy, met to clarify roles and ensure long-term effectiveness. Three months after the training, Joseph returned to follow up with the leaders, confirm that the materials were being used effectively, and answer questions This continued training ensured that Pokot leaders were confident and equipped to faithfully share God’s Word within their communities

Honor-Shame Ministry Training

by Werner Mischke in India and Nepal

Werner Mischke, former Vice President of Mission ONE, led leadership trainings in India and Nepal in the summer of 2025. Hosted by our local partners in each region, both conferences focused on understanding honor–shame dynamics and their influence on faith, culture, and discipleship

Through these sessions, pastors and ministry leaders were equipped to communicate the gospel more effectively within their cultural contexts, strengthening local churches and deepening discipleship across the region

Werner speaking in India at one of the honor-shame conferences

“This conference proved to be a deeply formative experience that brought clarity, confidence, and renewed vision to those who participated One of the most significant impacts was a marked strengthening of participants’ understanding of core Christian doctrine ”

Marriage and Biblical Training

Led by Bob Schindler in Nepal and Thailand

Bob Schindler, Founder of Mission ONE, led a Marriage Enrichment Retreat in Nepal alongside our local ministry partner This retreat was organized for church leaders and their spouses Bob guided 97 attendees in a time of teaching, reflection, and conversation centered on strengthening their marriages and deepening their walk with Christ.

The conference in Thailand, hosted by our local leader there, emphasized the authority of Scripture and the Gospel of Christ. The focus of the conference was widely affirmed by the 120 attendees as timely and vital

“Among the options I’ve explored, Mission ONE stands out because it maximizes the impact of every dollar. Traditional missionary approaches training and relocating people to new countries can be great, but they can cost hundreds of thousands, often for just a few years of service. In contrast, Mission ONE partners with local leaders already embedded in their communities. They know the culture and language intimately, allowing them to serve and share the Gospel more quickly, more effectively, and at a fraction of the cost. This approach feels like the best way to ensure my giving does the most good.”

THE FACES OF MISSION ONE

Through our 13 ministry partnerships, we support and equip a network of same or similar culture missionaries who are reaching their communities with the hope of the gospel.

Because of their work, many are hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ for the very first time By supporting Mission ONE, you are helping them continue this Kingdom work!

GROWING IN PARTNERSHIPS

Reaching more communities and lives with the hope of the Gospel

At Mission ONE, expansion and growth matter because they open new doors for the gospel to reach places where it has never been heard As we build new partnerships around the world, we are joining hands with leaders who are stepping into regions that have long been unreached or overlooked Growth is about increasing Kingdom impact by equipping more local churches, strengthening more communities, and supporting more missionaries who carry the hope of Jesus into hard and remote places. Every new partnership represents another opportunity for the gospel to take root in a new culture and transform an unreached community. As the Global Church grows, new communities are given the chance to encounter the hope of Christ for the first time

What’s next

Mission ONE’s Programs Team is currently building relationships with ministries in India, West Africa, and the Middle East to further expand the reach of the Gospel in those regions

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” –Matthew 28:18-20

Under Pastor Thomas’ leadership, this ministry exists to support missionaries through training, discipleship, evangelism, and church planting, with a focus on reaching communities where the gospel has not yet been heard Fifteen missionaries serve across refugee camps in seven regions of Uganda, faithfully ministering among people displaced by conflict and instability. Through this work, 33 local churches have been planted. Inspired by the early church in Antioch, the ministry brings together people from diverse backgrounds around the shared mission of making Christ known in every community.

Prince Ministry is led by Pastor KP and serves across rural and unreached regions of India through both gospel-centered ministry and compassionate care Through a network of 120 missionaries, the ministry shares the gospel, plants churches, and disciples believers in communities where access to Scripture is limited. Alongside evangelism, Prince Ministry is deeply committed to caring for the vulnerable through orphan care, community children programs, and support for elderly widows. Their outreach also includes flood relief efforts, free medical camps, and ministry to those affected by HIV/AIDS and leprosy.

Andhra Pradesh, India

Pastor Passang’s ministry serves remote and unreached communities across Sikkim, India. The ministry carries a clear vision to raise up church planters who can reach every corner of the region with the gospel and establish local churches where none exist. Pastor Passang’s approach is deeply relational, meeting physical needs as a bridge to sharing Christ through income-generating projects such as pig, chicken, and duck farms, as well as floriculture The ministry currently focuses on two isolated villages with no government support, where consistent relationshipbuilding have led to eight people coming to faith and being baptized. Pastor Passang also leads a monthly five-day training for pastors, equipping leaders in theology, spiritual formation, and community service. Over the past three years, more than 20 pastors have been trained, with several already planting churches.

WOMEN’S SPRING EVENT

Celebrating God’s work through women of faith

On March 5, 2025, Mission ONE hosted its inaugural Women’s Spring Luncheon in celebration of International Women’s Day. Held in a backyard setting, the event gathered women to honor and support female leaders in ministry. With 57 attendees, including 30 guests who were new to Mission ONE, the luncheon created meaningful space for connection and storytelling

Olivia encouraged the room with Psalm 139, pointing to the value and impact of women serving around the world. Our local leader from Nepal shared her testimony, offering a powerful glimpse into the realities faced by women in Nepal and the hope made possible through faithful partnership

Through the generosity of those who attended, $19,400 was raised to support income-generating opportunities for women in Nepal and ongoing discipleship and sewing training for women in Kenya. The luncheon reminded us that when people are invited into the story, generosity follows

Evenings of vision, community, and impact

M1 Gather events are relational gatherings designed to bring people together around the story of what God is doing through Mission ONE They often take place in homes or local spaces, creating room for shared meals, honest conversation, and deeper connection.

This year, our Gather events were especially meaningful as we welcomed Malini, one of our ministry leaders from India, to the U S During her visit, we shared meals, stories, and laughter, and gathered in the home of our Board Chairman and his family to hear firsthand how God is at work through her ministry at a local Bible college in India. These moments remind us of the gift of community and the power of coming together in God’s name.

Mission ONE Young Professionals Board

Mission ONE’s Young Professionals Board (YPB) exists to invite the next generation of leaders into God’s work around the world. Through events like M1 Gather, young leaders create

space to bring their friends and colleagues into the story of Mission ONE This past season, the YPB hosted an evening marked by joy, meaningful connection, and a shared passion to see communities transformed for the Kingdom of God.

We are continually encouraged by the heart, creativity, and perspective this generation brings. As they engage with our mission, they also challenge and shape how we think about partnership, community, and impact Walking together with the YPB is a reminder that God is raising up new leaders who are eager to step into His mission and faithfully serve alongside the Global Church.

PREPARING FOR WHAT’S AHEAD

Gathering more missionaries than ever before

As we look toward 2026, Mission ONE is prayerfully preparing for continued growth in both training and sustainability One key focus will be the 2026 Missionary Conference in Nairobi, Kenya, which will bring together over 200 missionaries and leaders from across the region for biblical training, encouragement, and shared learning. This gathering will create space for strengthening relationships, deepening spiritual formation, and equipping leaders who are serving in challenging and often isolated contexts

2026 Vision

Agriculture and poultry for long-term stability

In Sikkim, India, we are looking ahead to launching a poultry and agriculture project alongside Pastor Passang in Damthang village, a remote high-altitude community facing poverty, isolation, and harsh weather This project is designed to help families move toward financial independence while improving access to education and healthcare for children.

Empowering families through locally led micro-projects

Alongside training, we are placing renewed emphasis on launching micro-projects that support long-term sustainability for our partners and the communities they serve. In Uganda, we are seeking to begin livelihoodfocused projects within refugee camps, including Palabek Refugee Settlement, Maaji Settlement in Adjumani District, and Bidibidi Zone One at Iyeye Local Church. These projects will focus on food security, skill development, and income generation for missionaries and their communities, with initiatives such as sustainable agriculture, a maize milling plant, pig farming, and produce trade. The goal is to strengthen both families and ministry by creating reliable sources of income and greater stability

Creating pathways to dignity and economic stability

In India, Pastor KP and his team are preparing to open a sewing center for widows in Mafia Village, Visakhapatnam. This project will equip women who have experienced loss, stigma, and economic hardship with skills to earn income and support their families. As women are trained, they will also help train others, multiplying the impact across the community

This, and so much more!

Together, these projects reflect our commitment to helping partners move toward self-sustaining ministry. In the coming year, we will continue focusing on bringing these visions to life, trusting God to use them to strengthen local churches, restore dignity, and create lasting Kingdom impact

Be part of what God is doing!
