A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT

As we look ahead to 2025, we remain committed in our mission to bring glory to God and honor to all people as we transform communities to look more like the Kingdom.

Thank you for walking alongside this ministry. Join us in celebrating another year of incredible impact made possible through your prayers and generosity! As we reflect on the incredible journey of 2024, we are filled with gratitude for the ways God has moved through Mission ONE, our global ministry leaders, network of local missionaries, and faithful donors—like you. Your faithful support and prayers have made a profound difference in countless lives, and it’s a joy to share this year’s impact with you.

With your support, we’re providing critical medical care, offering educational opportunities, planting churches where there are none, and fostering reconciliation among divided groups, our ministry leaders and local missionaries are shining the light of the gospel in profound ways.

Because of your partnership, women, men, and children are experiencing hope and healing, often for the very first time, as they are discipled through the ministries of the local church. Together, we are helping to build a foundation of faith and sustainability that will bless future generations.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:58

WE ARE

In trusting partnerships with local leaders around the world, we listen to the communities they’re serving and identify their greatest needs.

Kingdom of God. world where every community is transformed for the glory of God and the honor of all peoples.

We work together to plan and implement projects that aim to transform communities from the inside out and support the long-term impact of the local church. Whether it be through a small business, medical clinic, school, vocational skills training center, or immediate relief, we seek to meet both physical and spiritual needs of rural and urban communities through the local church.

We develop training resources and network with organizations to support our local partners as well as other leaders in the Global Church. We emphasize the gospel of Christ restoring honor to all peoples for the glory of God.

MISSION GATHER

In early October, our local ministry leaders came together with us in Thailand for a time of worship, learning, and fellowship. This was the fulfillment of a long-held dream—to create a space where leaders could connect, learn from one another, and find encouragement as they carry out their mission.

Our local ministry leaders exchanged practical strategies and celebrated the sustainability of projects that are bringing hope and change to their communities. The focus was not just on planting new churches, but on ensuring these churches are healthy—meeting both spiritual and physical needs and creating a foundation for lasting impact.

An inspiring part of the conference was seeing nextgeneration leaders step into their calling. Their presence showed God’s faithfulness in continuing the mission through future generations. The work of the firstgeneration leaders is thriving as they pass it on to those who will carry it forward with courage and faith.

Sharing meals, prayers, and stories reminded us of the profound value of community. These moments strengthened our connection to something far greater than ourselves and reignited our passion for bringing the light of Christ to the world.

For us at Mission ONE, the conference was a reminder of why we do what we do. The stories of resilience, faith, and hope shared by our partners renewed our commitment to empowering leaders and equipping them to transform their communities to look more like the Kingdom of God.

We are deeply grateful for all who made this conference possible. We left that time together more encouraged than how we came. It was a true highlight of 2024, and we look forward to seeing how God will continue to use this time together to bear fruit in the years ahead.

Thank you for making this possible!

EMPOWERING OVER 540 LOCAL MISSIONARIES TO TRANSFORM LIVES

At Mission ONE, we believe the gospel is most powerfully shared by those who know their communities best. That’s why we’ve joined together with incredible local ministries around the globe, empowering over 540 missionaries to share Christ’s love in some of the hardest places. These faithful leaders are not only sharing the message of hope, but also building relationships, meeting physical needs, and transforming lives in the name of Jesus.

In the pages ahead, you’ll meet just a few of these inspiring missionaries—individuals who have said "yes" to God’s call to serve in regions where His name is often unknown or unwelcome. Their stories of courage, resilience, and faith are a testament to the impact your support is making.

Thank you for joining us in advancing God’s mission—one story, one person, one community at a time.

Aminah (name changed for safety) has dedicated the past 10 years to serving a rural village in Indonesia as a local missionary. Compelled by a profound experience with God and his call to serve neglected tribes, Aminah has faithfully poured her life into this community. As a single missionary, she has developed creative avenues to address both spiritual and practical needs. She operates a tutoring program for children aged five to 13, providing them with essential educational support. She also established a halfway house to care for individuals struggling with various challenges, offering them a place of rest and renewal. Both of these endeavors have created organic opportunities to share the gospel with her community.

David serves as a missionary among the Pokot community in northern Kenya alongside his wife, Catherine, and their four children. He is a trained pastor while Catherine is a primary school teacher. They first moved to Pokot because Catherine heard another missionary share about the need there and felt called to serve. Catherine became the first teacher in the area, while our local ministry leader supported David in his training at a local Bible college. David was ordained as a church minister and now oversees the churches they have planted in northern Pokot. Together, David and Catherine are transforming lives in the Pokot community through education, church planting, and faithfully sharing the gospel—embodying the heart of servant leadership.

Gabriel’s journey with Jesus began in 1999 after a devastating failure in his secondary school exams. Despite being a hardworking student who helped others succeed, Gabriel alone failed, leaving him hopeless. It was at this time he was introduced to the hope found in Jesus Christ. Gabriel soon gave his life to Christ, was baptized, and became an active member in his church. With renewed faith, he passed his exams the following year, bringing joy and purpose back into his life. Determined to serve, he received theological training and became a missionary in 2011. Gabriel and his wife, Abla, are blessed with two children—a daughter and a son. He is dedicated to serving God and sharing His love with every community he is called to.

Bengal

Sanjay discovered a passion for reaching unreached people groups while studying at our local ministry leader’s Bible college. He set out to engage a remote community in West Bengal that had never encountered the gospel. Sanjay started by meeting practical needs—teaching children and helping them enroll in a nearby school while supporting the men in finding work in agriculture, factories, and other industries. Doors began to open for Sanjay to build deeper relationships within the community and share God’s love. Over time, the transformative power of the gospel reached every household, and the entire village came to know Christ. Today, a thriving church gathers daily to worship and grow in their faith. Praise God for this incredible transformation!

Pastor Jiwan grew up in a Buddhist family and practiced Buddhism devoutly. After his son and wife fell ill, he experienced a powerful encounter with Christ, leading Jiwan and his entire family to embrace Christianity. He soon became a pastor, bringing the gospel to his community. He also played a crucial role in our community development project with the Cave People in Nepal. Alongside his wife and four children, he has planted more than 13 churches, currently overseeing seven of them. In addition to his ministry, he supports his family through a spicegrinding business and by raising cows and buffaloes.

Philip

Local Missionary Kopsiro, Kenya

Philip is a local missionary in Kopsiro, Kenya located near Mt. Elgon. He grew up in a challenging environment marked by poverty, alcoholism, and family violence. After experiencing the transformative power of the gospel in early adulthood, he was motivated to serve God by bringing hope to the same community he grew up in. Together with his wife and five children, he planted a church in the village and leads a prayer gathering twice a week for those struggling with alcoholism. Twenty people have since decided to turn from their addition. Philip has also spearheaded a movement to end the practice of female genital mutilation in his community. Through his ministry, Philip has profoundly impacted his village for the Kingdom, addressing both spiritual and social challenges with unwavering faith.

Chaiya (name changed for safety) is a local missionary sharing the hope of the gospel with the unreached in Southeast Asia. His boldness and unwavering trust in God have been a powerful encouragement to those around him, even in the face of intense persecution. Serving in an area where following Christ often comes at a great cost, Chaiya found himself imprisoned for his courageous outreach. Today, he ministers among a group of 60 believers who have been run out of their village because of their faith. He has helped them rebuild their lives and homes in a nearby forest, caring for both their physical and spiritual needs through this ministry.

Albano is a local missionary serving his community in South Sudan. He grew up in the church first planted by our local ministry leader there. He gave his life to Jesus in 2013 and was baptized two years later after completing a six-month discipleship training. He volunteers in the church playing the piano while serving and ministering to his village— meeting both their spiritual and physical needs. In addition, he teaches at a primary school to further support the needs of the community. He is married with three children, two boys and one girl. Albano

During Peter’s childhood, he and his family were internally displaced due to tribal conflicts in their hometown. In 1995, our local ministry leader visited the camp his family was living in, sharing the love and hope of the gospel message. Through this ministry, Peter accepted Christ as his personal Savior, and his life began to transform. As Peter grew in his relationship with Christ, his faith deepened and he became confident in sharing his testimony. In 2006, Peter responded to God’s call to become a local missionary in Kijabe Town, Kenya. By God’s grace, he has led hundreds of people to Christ, and continues to plant churches, baptize believers, and build strong fellowships committed to fulfilling the Great Commission.

HOPE AND RELIEF FOR HUNDREDS IN SOUTH SUDAN

11,095 PEOPLE FOUND HOPE in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our incredible community of faithful donors—YOU— provided lifesaving food, medical supplies, and clothing to hundreds of families in South Sudan in 2024. In the midst of desperate need and overwhelming instability, we were able to empower our local ministry leaders to distribute essential resources to those who needed it most. This not only met urgent physical needs, but also strengthened the faith of both the givers and recipients, reminding them that God is present even in the darkest times.

VOICESOFSUPPORT

"Mission ONE’s model of working with local pastors is such a proven, effective, and honoring way to spread the Gospel. We are delighted to have hosted Olivia and Werner [M1 President and Vice President] on separate occasions to bring us not only fine teaching, but firsthand updates from their global partners. It is also a joy to see the next generation of Mission ONE staff carry on the vision of the founders with such competence.

"–Marilyn Nasman, Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church, Friday Harbor, WA

We are deeply grateful to our supporters who make it possible to bring the hope and love of Christ to communities in need.

"After a missions trip to India to visit the pastors’ college and villages that our church supports, I realized that our pastors in India needed the ability and dignity to financially help themselves in addition to our church’s financial giving. Some internet research led me to the great work Mission ONE is doing worldwide to help pastors with bivocational training. After spending some time speaking with the President of Mission ONE, Olivia Mulerwa, I was convinced that this is a ministry worthy of backing.
