We are seeking energetic and motivated young Saudi graduates to join us for a paid, ten-month teacher development programme as a first step towards becoming a world-class teacher.
The programme consists of workshops and seminars along with observation and delivery of lessons. Each participant will be allocated a mentor as well as have access to an online learning platform.
To train to be a teacher of maths, science or Mandarin, delivering lessons and taking studies in English. This programme includes the opportunity to gain an iQTS (International Qualified Teacher Status) qualification from a prestigious English university. Applicants must have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 and a relevant subject degree. Experience of working with children is desirable but not essential.
To train to be a teacher of Arabic – this course will be undertaken in Arabic. Participants will have the opportunity to study for Professional Development Qualifications from Cambridge as well as complete their Saudi teaching licence.

All graduates who successfully complete the required modules, and pass the associated assessments, will earn valuable, internationally recognised qualifications.Along with this, there will be regular modules on up-to-date teaching pedagogy, mentoring and classroom practice, as well as the opportunity to start High Performance Learning Teacher Standards accreditation.
By the end of the programme, strong participants will be encouraged to apply for career teaching positions at Misk Schools.
A bursary of 11,000 SAR per month is available. Meals (lunch plus a morning and afternoon snack) are provided by the school.

Please note: Participants must be innovative, open minded and active contributors. The programme is full time, on-site in our campus in Irqah, Riyadh starting in August 2024 and running until May 2025. Applicants must have a relevant undergraduate degree and an English level of IELTS 6.5 is required for the international programme (Path 1).
