Failed self-published author, Collie Lonergan, quit his job to be a writer. His wife, Kate, has supported them the past four years with her real estate business, but now that interest rates are spiking, the stress is weighing in. Collie starts to suspect Kate is cheating as a distance grows between them, and Kate spends long hours at the office. One evening when Kate doesn't come home, Collie is scrolling Instagram and comes across an influencer who swears by these sock puppets for her writing process. Collie buys them in a desperate attempt to change his career, and perhaps his marriage, forever.
