Dear Mirabel Members,
April was a very memorable month at Mirabel! It was a pleasure and honor to meet and serve your families and guests over the course of spring breaks, Easter weekend and the Staghorn. There was a great energy and buzz around the Club surrounding these two very special weeks. I want to commend our entire team for their efforts and hard work; they did a spectacular job from Easter to the Staghorn and everything in between. It was so nice to return to a sense of normalcy this spring following the past two years. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
This spring we were also focused on Employee Appreciation! On April 25, we hosted our Mirabel Team Family Picnic. 160 Team Members and their families came to Cactus Park in Scottsdale. We had a face painter, balloon artist, bounce house, and catered food. It was one of my favorite events that we have hosted, as it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our team and their families in a casual setting. We also just hosted our annual Employee Appreciation Day! Thank you to all of the Member Volunteers for helping to make this event so special this year! The outpouring of volunteers was remarkable and greatly appreciated. We also added an option for donations in support of our Mirabel Employee Scholarship Fund. Your kindness and generosity is extraordinary. I know I speak for all of us when I say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As our golf season winds to a close, it is important for our Leadership Team to reflect on our operation, to evaluate progress, achievements, and areas in need of improvement. We will be sending out the 2022 Membership Satisfaction Survey this coming Monday. We need your help! I would like to ask each and every Primary Member and spouse to complete the survey. We want to ensure the results show an accurate representation of Member satisfaction throughout the year. Your feedback, suggestions, and insights are valuable to us as a team and your feedback will be instrumental as we set the stage and foundation for next season. I know that this season had its challenges due to staffing levels and operating changes, but please focus on your overall experience. We greatly appreciate your time and efforts in helping us measure our performance. An executive summary of the survey results will be published.
Just as it is critical for us to reflect on our operations, our Board needs to take some time to reflect on our strategic direction. Our annual Board Strategy Session will take place on Monday, May 16. This year, our session will be guided by Kurt Kuebler of Kopplin, Kuebler and Wallace and Jim Butler of Club Benchmarking. We are looking forward to productive discussions and creating our strategic goals to move the Club forward. We will certainly give a report out of our day and keep you informed as we lay the foundations for the Mirabel of the future.
Happy Summer to all! Thank you once again for your support and for an incredible season. If you are headed out, please enjoy and remember to stay in touch. If you are staying around, we look forward to serving you. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
Sincerely,

Ron Peterson
