Information:
Safetex™ is a re-usable, self opening PVC laundry bag, designed for the collection of heavily soiled and infected linen. Safetex™ has unique welded seams to ensure the bag is fluid and odour proof. Once the Safetex™ bag is safely inside the washing machine the bag naturally opens. The natural opening minimises manipulation of the bag and prevents staff exposure to the infectious linen prior to decontamination as per 5.31 of the Dept of Health CFPP, Decontamination of Linen for Health and Social Care: Management and Provision document. Safetex™ bags are environmentally friendly and a cost-effective alternative to single use disposable red bags, with a lifespan that can withstand multiple processings.
