Our History POND’S started out in 1846 as a patent medicine company when Theron T. Pond, a pharmacist from Utica, New York, began selling “Golden Treasure”, a homeopathic remedy containing witch hazel. By the twentieth century, the company’s main strategy was geared towards selling cosmetics products. Today Ponds is sold around the world.

The New POND’S Star + Petal & Leaves Our new logo conceptually and visually communicates the soul and mission of POND’S, which stands for scientific, authentic, beneficial, and genuine. Combining the star, petal, and leaves and using only organic lines and circles to form the letter P.

Clear Space Clear space is the minimum “breathing room” maintained around the brandmark. It should be kept free of graphics, text, and other marks. It also defines the minimum distance from the brandmark to the edge of a printed piece. We use half-height of the wordmark (x) as our logo clear space. All other elements should not be placed within it.
