orking mother Chloe Brookman – co founder Olli Ella – has her hands full with three children and a million-dollar enterprise… In this feature, she shows us how she balances motherhood, life and business with enviable panache. Launched in 2009 by sisters Chloe and Olivia Brookman, Olli Ella quickly became known for seriously stylish nursery furniture and baby bedding. In fact, at their very first trade show, they were picked up by exclusive UK department store Harrods. Not bad for a business born in the basement of an art gallery. “We started Olli Ella after designing a nursing chair for my nursery (what is now the Da-Da Glider),” says Chloe. “After a flood of requests from friends to have nursing chairs made for them, we decided to take a punt and launch our brand at a local London tradeshow.” Although the brand was created in London, Chloe has since moved to Balmain, Sydney with her family, while Olivia still lives in London, England with hers. love every inch of Olli Ella, which is stocked worldwide and boasts an ever-expanding collection including nursing chairs, rugs, nursery furniture, baby bedding, and more. Olli Ella designs are nostalgic at the same time modern, with Chloe and Olivia drawing inspiration from their children and from their own childhoods…
