Our school vision is “To be a school where every child can thrive and meet with success”

To this effect, GIP offers a friendly, intimate and childcentred learning environment. Children are placed at the very centre of the learning process and receive a broad and balanced education where we firmly believe that learning should be fun.

Bringing out the best in our children is our constant aim. This means developing and nurturing a successful blend of creativity, confidence and courtesy which will equip our young people to cope with the demands of life, wherever they may live in the world.

Creating Outstanding Members of the Community GIP is about people; the well-being, development and contentment of our entire community. Pupil’s opinions are valued. We genuinely listen to them individually and collectively through student councils, environment councils and through our House system which covers charities, sport, fund-raising and many other activities the pupils wish to engage in. We believe it is important for our pupils to have a firm commitment to deep rooted values, and to be flexible, pragmatic and open to new ideas. We aim to build self-confidence, self-discipline, communication and leadership skills in our pupils who emerge as articulate young adults ready to contribute widely to the global community.

Student Voice and Leadership Achievements

Student voice and developing future world leaders is something that we focus on at GIP. We have a Head Boy and Head Girl in both Primary and Secondary schools as well as prefect leadership teams.

Student councilors represent the voice of the student body at regular meetings. We also have House Captains to lead our four houses in all manner of competitions including fundraising.
