You are now progressively iterating your 3D whilst simultaneously finalizing the technical aspects of your drawing, specifically, your floor plans and sections.
These drawings are important to convey your understanding and mastery of your final year project through technicality, spatial circulation reasoning and detailing of the programmes within your space. The spatial layout and design should function and be technically sound.
Please keep to this timeline to ensure your progression is clear, concise, and well phased. Failure to keep to this schedule will progressively affect your design output that is required at each progression block.
Please keep in mind that the design development is expected to progress concurrently due to time limitations in relation to the exhibition production. All phases should be done concurrently to ensure that there is ample time for the exhibition process.
Initially inspired by the unique and delicious food of Penang, combined with the local traditional architectural structures and patterns on the walls and floors, it reminded me that as time progresses, design aesthetics and judgments are taken more seriously, so I thought of combining both traditional and modern elements to change the status quo, and to keep moving towards a modernization trend.

Use lazer cut to cut out large pieces of the model and then piece them together layer by layer to form a wave shape, then manually cut out each of the different pieces of furniture and furnishings, collage them onto the board, and utilize the cardboard to make the shape of a spring to highlight the design and highlights of the furniture.
Finally positioning four different colors of small LED bulbs in different locations, four colors correspond to four different ingredients, red, blue and green indicate the location of the furniture represented on each floor.
Through this semester of efficient preparation, I would be made to feel doubly stressed, first of all I would feel that there was an endless assignment to be done, and despite the very enthusiastic guidance and advice of my teachers, I found that there were still many things that needed to be added and changed, which made me a little bit anxious when I was working on it. However, after submitting my work at the end of the semester, I am very satisfied with the efforts and changes I have made this semester, although there are still a lot of shortcomings, and I hope to make it even better again in the time to come. Thank you very much to my instructors, with your professional guidance, I have a clearer idea of my future career plan.
