From upholstered booths and booth dividers to the architectural millwork wall dividers used to created private customer spaces. We had the opporuntity to help Olive Garden produce a wide variety of products. This includes host stands, point of sale stations, wine racks, dining room tables, and back bars. We take special pride in partneirng with Olive Garden’s designers to come up with solutions that best represent one of the many signiture looks. We’ve been doing work with them for over 30 plus years, so that says a lot about our commitment, communication, support, and most imporatntly, our quality,
“We’re
constantly faced with the evolving styles demanded by different restaurant locations. Partnering with designers from Olive Garden, we love the challenge of updating their furnishings to match the fresh aesthetics they’re seeking”.
As contrast to the newer, contemporary style that Olive Garden has adapted to recently, here is a look at some of the more older style work that we have had a part in helping produce.
We do our own manufacturing and design in house . Our skilled drafters and craftsmen will make your vision come to life.
It was a design feat to develop the decor shelves thatmade up the design of the back bar. We ended up having to build the fixture in sections, that was then installed into place behind the bar.
Alongside the various fixtures produced in the Renessaciane style, we also manufacrured casework and upholstered booths / benches that go along with the signniture green in the Olive Garden brand.

Casework Metal Fabrication
Now formerly known as Harry’s, located in Lakeville, Minnesota. We had the opporuntity to help uplift thier resturatnt with upholstered booths (U-shaped & double), round wooden stained tables, various casework features, and a metal fabricated bar shelf.
To make the organization easier for the bartender to easily find the alcohol they are looking for, we were tasked in producing a custom bar shelf for Harry’s restaurant. We combined our skillset and leveraged our experience in metal fabrication and custom millwork to create this piece.
The bar area was not the only area we had out hands on. All around Harry’s we were able to provide custom booth seating that was accompanied by stained tables. In the iamges you will see examples of single and double padded dropseat booths, along with U-shaped black button tufted booths.
From metal fabrication to booths to casework, Harry’s is a great example of what we can do beyond just booths. Near the front of the restuaurant we were abel to help produce custom casework and point of sale stations that all matched the other fixtures in the restuarant.

Ouback Steakhouse and thier parent brand Bloomin’ Brands has been a proud partner with us for many years. We are always happy to assist them with projects they need doen all over the US. We have had our hands in helping furnishing a wide variety of restaurants over our extended time with Outback.
We build lasting relationships with brands, providing them with award-winning products.
In 2023, we eceived the prestigious “Supplier of the Year” award from Bloomin’ Brands, specifically for the work with Outback Steakhouse. This accolade means a lot to us as it represents speaks to our above and beyond performance and dedication to quality when it comes to serving the restaurant industry.
We pride ourselves in being instrumental in enhancing the dining experience at Outback Steakhouses nationwide. We have supplied custom booths, chairs, cabinetry, and other architectural millwork, playing a key role in the brand’s restaurant redesign initiatives. These efforts align with Outback Steakhouse’s goal to modernize and create inviting spaces that reflect their casual, Australian-themed dining atmosphere
We are involved in the design concept from start to finish.
Highlighted here is an example of one of our more unique styles of host stands that we made for Outback. It showcases a red oak plywood host stand with a custom crocdile texture feature for the front and top. On the hostess side, there was also build in drawersfor additional storage.
Craftsmanship is just one of the many key component to running a successful millwork.
The host stand redesign project for Outback Steakhouse was a massive undertaking that extended far beyond just the 50 initial locations. In addition to those, we tackled 48 “go back” locations, which were places still using the outdated host stand design. Our team took charge of the entire process, from designing the new fixtures to delivering and installing them.
What made this project particularly unique was our hands-on approach, encompassing both the production and delivery of each host stand. With meticulous care, our employees crafted each stand, etching the uniquely designed logo onto the front. Additionally, we utilized our own truck and delivery personnel to ensure a seamless transition from the old to the new host stands. This enabled us to maintain control over every aspect of the project, ensuring consistency and quality across all locations
“Minnesota Millwork & Fixtures has a solid reputation of working regularly with select groups of other major restaurant chains.”
A quote from Scott Evans, director of Construction and Design for Front Burner Brands in an opening statement to address the Vendor of the Year award.
Scott goes on to say, “Their design and approval process is thorough and detailed as they insured everything was up to specification before approving upon and value engineering our designs. The products they constructed and delivered were high quality and the craftsmanship was world class. The additional surprise with the installation team who’s experience, and background told me immediately we had an additional valuable benefit above and beyond the products they provided.”
In only our first year working with The Melting Pot, we achieved a feat that many manufacturing busniesses strive for. Vendor of the Year. We brought all of the different elements together and produced the millwork, casework, and booths needed to furnish the many Melting Pot locations.

The Melting Pot is a casual dining restaurant serving a “4-course fondue experience”. We provided warm and contemporary standardized fixtures and furniture for their restaurants. We were excited to build fixtures for every area within the restaurant, upholstered booths, metal fixtures, barback, hostess stand, and cabinetry. Open floor-to-ceiling metal and wood candle focals, half-circle, and high back upholstered booths add to the illusion of privacy while maintaining the restaurant’s airy atmosphere.
Every piece, from the back bar to the to-go counter, was meticulously designed to contribute to the overall ambiance and functionality of the space.
We crafted an array of elements, from vibrant booths to custom tables and even upholstered chairs. Our expertise extended beyond millwork to include metal fabrication, as exemplified by creations like the cheese and chocolate station and the custom metal wall divider.
Reflecting on our journey, we take pride in the meticulous attention to detail and the collaborative spirit that defined our process. From the cozy intimacy of the red, angled “Lovers Lane” booths to the bustling energy of the bar at the Melting Pot, each project was a testament to our commitment to excellence.
