When night falls, residents have the opportunity to gather in groups and watch horticulture documentaries using a beam projector. In some cases, even if the documentaries are not being screened, many people choose to borrow books from libraries and read them outdoors.

BELL Pavilion

The pavilion that will be build around the cabbage farmer's market brings a great impression of its mass with the mature trees around it. The concept of "BELL" is to reorient visitors sense of direction.

The echoing voice inside the pavilion, the dim light, and the symmetrical interior structure induce people to experience a variety of things. Glasses, ironworks, and a pond reflecting light, making people feel another experience. When visitors

leave pavilion, the similar-looking narrow doors will restrict their view outside, makes them to get to a different exit from where they came from, leading them to a new direction. This pavilion not only offers a dining facility, but also helps people experience different enjoyments.

Academic Project Studio Advisor: Carlo Parente Fall 2023 Location: Toronto, Canada

Community hub is not a building, but it is a series of outdoor and indoor experiences serving the scadding court community. Techniques used in the concept deemphasize the hub as a building by shifting down the datum, covering with green that opens to park, and different entrances to the building for various experiences. Existing programs around

the site (hospital, religious buildings) can be a part of the hub providing different ex p e r i e n c e s to t h e n e i g h b o u r h o o d .

The goal of the hub is to make the neighbourhood want to revisit the site because of their happy experience.

This pool allows visitors to have fun and learn swimming. It is always crowded with children who enjoy spending time in the water. Skylights on the ceiling provide natural light, creating a beautiful ambience with different circular shapes.
