HEY KIWIS! I’m so beyond excited to present to you all withmy first newsletter of the term! I took inspiration from my favorite comic book character, Snoopy, and incorporated some of his iconic and beautiful moments into this newsletter. As an incoming junior in the fall, I am so grateful for all the memories I’ve made in KIWIN’S, and I hope to provide you with an even better experience now that I am your Corresponding Secretary. Charlie Brown has famously said, “Learn from yesterday, live for today, look to tomorrow.” As your new President, I am so excited to live for today and look to tomorrow with all you kiwis! Join us as we emBARK on the new 2024-2025 journey together! We would like to thank all of you who have been apart of this past term with us; your dedication and spirit made the 2023-2024 year the success that it was. During May, we accumulated a total of 252.25 hours through your participation in volunteer events like the Movie in the Park, Hoag OC Marathon, Night Nation Run, Green Valley’s Memorial Day Picnic, Tamura Fun in the Sun Carnival, and Jet KIWIN’S May DCM. What a PAW-some way to start off the term! Thank you for all your hard work! hihi kiwis!! my name is nasa cao. i am an upcoming senior, and i’m super excited to be serving as your president this 2024-2025 term! since this is my last year with KIWIN’S, i can’t wait to lead and get to know you all over the next few months! a little bit about myself, i consider myself a connoisseur of sorts ��. i love listening to all genres of music (my favorite artist is dominic fike), watching movies (especially crappy rom-coms), eating good food and sweet treats with friends, building LEGOS, and watching sunsets at the beach. outside of KIWIN’S events, you wi probably find me at the library or the beach! i also like driving, but i still don’t have my license… send me feet pics @nasacao on instagram ��

WHAT’S COOKING GOOD LOOKING!! i’m Anh Pham and i’ll be serving as one of your co-vice presidents for the upcoming term! i’m an incoming junior who’s also serving as a bulletin editor for Jet KIWIN’S. last year, i was responsible for capturing memories of my fellow KIWINNERS through camera lenses so i’m especially hyped to help create them by organizing fun events alongside joanna! i love crime tv-shows, taking pictures, beach drives, holding nightly raves while doing homework or dishes, and making memories with friends. i don’t workout but on my rest days (every weekend), you will find me volunteering! my comfort food (AKA the way to my heart) is good ol’ i n out so dm @anh.mph on insta if you want to buy and deliver in n ou to my front door OR if you have any questions

WASSUP KIWIS?!?! My name is Sean Pham and I am super excited to be your Historian this term. I really enjoy playing volleyball, hanging out with my friends, and taking walks in the park or at the beach I also enjoy reading dystopian novels and listening to music from SZA or Kendrick Lamar. I have always been interested in taking scenic photography or photos during sports games, which is the reason why I decided to become a historian for KIWIN’s. Since i've been in KIWIN'S, it's been something that i always look forward to, and i hope to continue this not just for me, but for others too. i really enjoy contributing to the community, especially surrounded by friends, listening to music, and playing games. throughout high school i have constantly feared the idea of fitting in but i never doubted my place in KIWIN’S. i truly believe that one’s high schools experience is shaped from the bonds we form in these four years and KIWIN’S has been the glue to so many friendships i have gained. i have so much love for this club and i am immensely grateful to all of you that i have met throughout my journey in KIWIN’S. thank you to every meeting, social, or service event you have all attended, even if it was just the first one. KIWIN’S defined my entire high school career, hands down. This organization opened up a countless number of doors for my future and gave me experiences that will never be forgotten. My love for photography begun with KIWIN’S, leading me to work professionally in the industry using my experiences with this club. Without a shadow of a doubt,
KIWIN’S gave me opportunities that’s no high school club could ever offer, coming out with life long friends and memories that molded my personality today. I urge every KIWIN’S member to step outside their comfort zone and just do it. Go to the next service event, talk to the nearest board member, and be involved. trust me, you won’t regret it.
