In Freiheit, Mingxi is responsible for design package delivery, design aesthetic and graphic/ drawing clarity for strong client presentation. He has worked with Wayde Tardif in multiple multifamily RFPs and support design package delivery including code study, sustainablity strategies, masterplanning, TOD analysis, building and floorplan design. He also uses Revit in building permits, design development and construction drawing for detail drafts and refinement.

The concept purposing a single dense building cluster instead of multiple buildings, in order to leave a vast space for public parks. The design imagines an overhang cable structure pulled from one side to minimize the load of the other side, in order to create space without columns. The shape of the building follows the mountain, clinging on the ground, grabbing a sense of nature.
