INTRO

I have always believed that architecture is more than just an object, a structure or a form. From primitive caves to modern concrete buildings, architecture has been created or improved with the goal of providing better shelter for people. Human emotions, psychology and feelings will change drastically with the change in architectural space. Therefore, architecture will be created based on the ever-changing needs of humans and will also need to evolve continuously.

BEAM AND CONCRETE STRUCTURE

The project aims to design an architectural structure for a two storage buildings. The design primarily focuses on the use of I-shaped steel frames to provide the primary horizontal and vertical frame support for the building. The Concrete block is the main wall support, and its interior will be loaded with reasonable insulation. At the same time, the Callout section also provides more detailed structural information. And finally, display all structural information in a neat and standard form.

MODULARIZATION KIOSK + BICYCLE WORKSHO + GALLERY TOWER

The project aims to design three buildings for the National Art School, including a kiosk, a bicycle workshop and a gallery tower. Therefore, this design mainly focuses on designing three buildings with different functions in a limited space and making them form a whole. At the same time, the design also created two different levels of circulation to connect all the spaces. Whether it is people who visit the three buildings or people who want to go through the building to reach other spaces, they can reach their destination in the shortest and most efficient way.

AQUEOUS LANDSCAPE LAB IN COAL LOADER

1 Balls Head Dr, Waverton NSW 2060

The project aims to design three aqueous labs to allow marine scientists to obtain a better environment for research and improve the marine ecological environment of Sydney Harbour. At the same time, as the main large-scale industrial site (The Coal Loader) in the last century, it may be redesigned to attract more people to visit and study at Coal Loader.

The design mainly divides the space by means of layers, so that the primary use spaces of tourists and scientists are separated from each other, but they can also visit each other. At the same time, the new design also attracts and enhances the public curiosity about the new Coal Loader space from each entrance through the form of space guidance and visual guidance. The curiosity generated by these spaces will lead visitors to understand this Coal Loader from the last century. This historical space differs significantly from the modern urban environment, from the contemporary city to the Coal Loader and into the forest.

VA LIBRARY

2 River Rd W, Parramatta NSW 2150

The VA Library is located on a site with great development potential, surrounded by bridges, light rail and shops. With the development of the city and social involution, people are finding it difficult to balance their work and time spent in nature. The new library will aim to continue attracting people to the public building by utilizing advantage of its architectural form and geographical advantages. Leading people to explore and rediscover environments they have missed due to their busy lifestyles. This environment could include natural landscapes or even the evolving urban scenery. In the end, people can gradually repair this unbalanced state and have a good understanding of the local culture and landscape.
