Utöver de traditionella brotthällarna som k ommer i varierande tjocklek erbjuder Minera också trädgårdsskiffer med fast tjocklek. De är frästa på undersidan så att de precis som plattor får en jämn tjocklek. Detta gör att läggningen går mycket snabbare och att resultatet blir snyggare. Lim- och fogmasseåtgången minskar också, och den frästa undersidan ger bättre vidhäftning mot underlaget.
In addition to the traditional crazy paving that are available in a variety of thicknesses, Minera also supplies crazy paving in fixed thickness. They are milled on the backside to achieve one specific thickness, just like a tile. This enables the crazy paving to be installed much more quickly, and with a better aestetic result. Less adhesive and grouting is required, and the milled underside provides improved grip for the adhesive towards the underlying surface.

QUALITY CRITERIA: The surface is free from flaws and cracks. The stones are free from production marks. On our pallets, thenstones are always placed with what we regard to be the right side upwards, and with a “lid” of larger stones in order to ensure durable and stable packing.
OFFERDAL Detta är en mycket solid, frostsäker och slitstark skiffer. Skiffern är mörkt grå med vågig yta som får en speciell lyster i solljus. Trots att Offerdalskiffern är en mycket hård skiffertyp är den lätt att bearbeta.
Offerdal: The stones have a naturally even surface, but variations of up to 5 mm may occur. The surface is free from white or red spots ) and clefts. As a general rule, each stone has a minimum of four edges. All the edges are natural.
Oppdal/Otta: Trädgårdsskifferns yta har en jämn, naturlig struktur utan höjdskillnader (en jämn delning över hela ovansidan). Varje häll har alltid minst fyra kanter varav maximalt en kant är klippt/ huggen/sågad – övriga kanter är naturliga. Offerdal: Trädgårdsskiffer har en naturlig, jämn ovansida med höjdskillnader på upp till 5 mm. Ytan har inga fläckar (vita/röda) eller ryggar. Alla hällar har i regel minst fyra kanter. Alla kanter är naturliga. OPPDAL Trädgårdsskiffer från Oppdal är lätta och behändiga stenar, frostsäkra och enkla att arbeta med. Vid bearbetning kan de enkelt ritsas och knäckas till helt unika former. I färg varierar de i olika gråa toner. OPPDAL Crazy paving from Oppdal are a light and convenient stone. They are frost-proof and easy to work with and shape. The stones can be easily adjusted by scoring and breaking, and in this way be given a completely unique shape. The colour of the stones varies in different shades of light grey.

OTTA This is a frost-proof, extremely manageable crazy paving with a colour that varies from black to charcoal. Elements of hornblende crystals and garnet give this material its unique look, which will both amaze and impress. Like all other dark materials, such as ceramic tiles, Otta schist can become hot from the sun. This is important to take into consideration if you wish to use the schist outdoors in an area where you want to walk barefoot. Due to the heat, the schist will also be subject to large temperature differences during the course of the day. This poses challenges regarding lasting adhesion. It is important to use adhesion products that are recommended (guaranteed) when using Otta outdoors. OFFERDAL Offerdal is an extremely solid, frost-proof and durable schist. The surface is dark grey with an attractive wavy structure, and shines spectacularly in sunlight. Despite being a very hard type of schist, Offerdal is very easy to work with.
