Its luxurious suites overlook the Thames, it has great dining options, and it houses one of London’s finest flower studios, By Appointment Only Design. It boasts one of the city’s most revered spas – the acclaimed Dr Barbara Sturm has taken residence there – and the afternoon teas are on my regular checklist, especially when I host guests in town. The Royal Penthouse – enjoyed by Oprah, Beyoncé and international royalty – features a dining room, butler’s kitchen, state-of-the-art bathrooms, art galore, huge dressing rooms and even a lift to take you to the top floor, where luxury bedrooms serve such a panoramic view of London that St Paul’s Cathedral, the Oxo Tower and London Eye feel within reach. corinthia.com
