MK College and YMCAMilton Keynes join forces to empower young
people
Milton Keynes College has partnered with YMCAMilton Keynes on various projects over the years and is now collaborating more strategically to maximise our impact. Sharing a commitment to helping young people belong, contribute, and thrive, we recently met with their CEO and Director of Youth & Community to explore ways to work together. Key areas include youth voice, active citizenship, White Ribbon initiatives, employment and learning, and mental health and wellbeing. Teams from both organisations will now be developing these ideas further.

College students support prestigious dinner with High Sheriff at Bletchley Park
Milton Keynes College staff and students recently took part in the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire’s Justice Dinner at Bletchley Park. Catering and Hospitality students prepared and served a delicious halal menu for the event, which brought together local organisations to highlight the importance of investing in young people and enabling their voices to be heard.
MK College students design artwork for Police antisocial behaviour campaign
Thames Valley Police has launched a campaign to encourage the reporting of antisocial behaviour (ASB), featuring artwork created by Milton Keynes College student ChiamakaAhaneku.The campaign aims to raise awareness of the impact of ASB on communities, with the winning design by Chiamaka helping to promote the importance of speaking out and reporting incidents.

MK College celebrates apprenticeship success
at Graduation event
Milton Keynes College Group recently celebrated the success of 40 apprentices at a graduation event held onThursday 27th February at the Ridgeway Centre in Milton Keynes.Apprentices from sectors including Digital, Business, Finance, and Construction proudly received their certificates, joined by friends, family, and the employers who supported their journey.
