Title: Outside Processing Coordinator – Grand Rapids, MI
Job Description: Mill Steel is seeking a detail oriented and organized individual to expand our Outside Processing Department. This is a full time position. Outside Processing Coordinators (OPCs) are responsible for managing numerous supply-chains where external production activities are required. This role requires the ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize, as well as maintaining working relationships with multiple processors. As the main point of contact with our Toll Processors, OPC’s are responsible for communicating any supply chain disruptions or concerns back to our organization and participating in contingency planning as needed.

Responsibilities:
Monitoring inbound and outbound material flow
Writing and issuing purchase orders
Expediting production through suppliers
Quality assurance
Processor evaluation
Inventory control
Quoting
Accounting; billing/invoicing
Some travel required
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Must have strong communications skills. Must be able to think critically and work independently. Also must be detailed oriented, have strong organizational abilities, be a situational leader and team player. Business experiences is a plus.
