The 9th SeptemberFest will take place Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the Prete-Metcalf Field located on 199 Hawkins Street, Providence. This is a free neighborhood event with free food, games and fun. Parents and guardians are asked to accompany children to this event. The rain date is Saturday, September 19, 2015 same time and location. In addition, informational tables will be organized by the Fire and Emergency Management Departments on fire prevention techniques and emergency evacuation procedures. Voter registration will also be provided by the Secretary of State's Office. The board met July 20, 2015 to discuss the planning of the event and follow up with the previous donors to secure their donations and the success of the event. Councilman Narducci was assigned individuals and personal contacts previously contacted by Mike Narducci, to continue reestablished personal relationships. River St. And Corliss Street) on the former site of abandoned postal, service building has been approved by the City Plan Commission.
