SCADx
Diverge is a table that takes a departure from the ordinary towards excellence. The design takes simple forms and tweaks them from its ordinary path to tread a more divergent path. The table uses a robust base to emulate a strong and stable foundation supporting a contrastingly light and delicate top.

Material Specifications
Diverge uses a 8 gauge mild steel base made of sheet metal bolted to a MS sheet UV fused to the glass top. The assembly is concealed within the hollow base to allow a clean and simple exterior. The detachable glass top allows for easy crating for shipping.

TRANSFIGURATION SCULPTURE
Selected sculpture by SCAD Museum of Art as part of a permanent sculpture promenade in Lacoste, France to commemorate the 20th anniversary of SCAD Lacoste. The Le Verger Sculpture Garden features the works of 10 artists, one of whom is Milan Bhullar.
Transfiguration can be defined as a change in form or appearance : a metamorphosis into a more beautiful or spiritual state. In a religious context, transfiguration is considered a pivotal moment - the meeting place for the temporal and the eternal; the experience of momentary divine radiance.
The sculpture marks this pivotal moment of transformation celebrating 20 years of SCAD Lacoste. Reflecting menhirs of increasing size emulate the surrounding landscape dotted with bories and embody the ever growing community of SCAD and it multi-faceted students - each reflecting a unique perspective and together standing strong as a unit.

SHIFTING PERSPECTIVE
Shifting Perspective is a graduate thesis exploration of the habits we create around furniture. These habits influence our perspective which can weigh in on our natural resiliency. It aims to propose a new wellness ritual that creates a dedicated space for selfactualization using furniture within our homes.

The product line was developed during my employment at Shibanee & Kamal Architects, Bangalore, India. The cabinetry uses solid wood yellow cedar for shutters and birch ply for carcass construction.
