Jennifer Turner, Program Director, Global Supplier Diversity, IBM

Jennifer Turner has been a global supplier diversity advocate since joining IBM building relationships and driving efforts to increase spend with diverse suppliers and representing IBM at conferences. In 2021, she was recognized as a Corporate Buyer of the Year for her efforts. In 2022, Jennifer was named the IBM Global Supplier Diversity Program Director, where she is driving strategic solutions with diverse suppliers to develop their capabilities enhance their market competitiveness, purchase from them to increase their economic strength and cultivate relationships with the businesses to drive new technology, innovation and creativity. Jennifer has also held management roles at various companies.

She is also the recipient of multiple awards including the Black Engineering of the Year Award (BEYA), Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Woman of Distinction, United States President’s Volunteer Service, Peekskill, New York Living Legend, and John F. Kennedy Journalism Awards among others. Jennifer is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and passionately serves as an Executive Board Member of Women Business Enterprise National Council, Global Supplier Diversity Advisory Council, WEConnect, and Minority Supplier Development China. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communications and Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in General Management with honors from Howard University and a Master's Certification in Project Management from George Washington University both are located in Washington, DC. She is a Girl Scouts Lifetime Member, St. Peter's Episcopal Church Sunday School Director and is a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) advocate. She infuses her talents, leadership and creativity in her local community and at IBM. Jennifer strives to inspire others and to make the world a better place one smile at a time. As a wife and mother of two vibrant daughters, Jennifer brings high energy and a positive attitude to each new challenge.

Matthew Mullens, Supplier Diversity Program Manager, IBM

Matthew currently serves as a Supplier Diversity Manager for IBM Americas. He has a background in consulting, helping clients to develop data-driven insights to meet their needs. Before joining IBM in 2020, Matthew provided market research, ESG consulting, and strategic thinking support to help entrepreneurs grow their small businesses. He also founded his own certified black-owned business. As a consultant, researcher, and founder, Matthew is passionate about sustainable business practices and has experience in various technical and business roles, achieving success in strategic execution and process improvements.

Tiffany Rogers Bussey, DBA, MBA, MSc, PMP Executive Director - Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center

Dr. Tiffany Rogers Bussey is the founding Director of the Morehouse College Entrepreneurship Center, a global model for providing small business support in the areas of organizational management infrastructure development and process improvement. Dr. Bussey has over thirty years of experience in various aspects of business management for corporate, small business, educational and non-profit organizations. As Director of the Morehouse College Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, Dr. Bussey manages strategic teams of faculty, staff and consultants to achieve the goals of the Center, which is to assist in the development and growth of entrepreneurs of color through scholarly research, training and consulting services. Dr. Bussey is also an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Morehouse College. She frequently provides commentary as a small business expert on NPR, Bloomberg News, Black Enterprise and Huffington Post. Her opinions and writings have appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Atlanta Business Chronicle, USA Today and Forbes Magazine among other media outlets.

Dr. Bussey earned her doctorate in business administration and masters of science degree in strategic management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, U.K. She received a master’s in business administration from George Washington University in Washington D.C and a baccalaureate degree in economics from The College of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey. Dr. Bussey is a Certified Project Management Professional, Certified Situational Leadership Facilitator, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Training Presenter, and a Certified Teacher of Entrepreneurship. Her research interest intersects the areas of leadership behavior and strategic change in small firms.

Danita Harris, Program Manager, MIEC

Danita is the Program Manager for the Morehouse Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center helping business owners with management training, securing capital and securing contracts. She worked for companies in multiple sectors including Cox Communications, IBM, Bridgestone, Travelers Insurance, Central Intelligence Agency as well as non-profit organizations. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia and is ISO 9000, Change Management, Agile Performance Management and has her Green Belt in Six Sigma. She also serves on the board for Out of Hand Theater, a non-profit organization that creates a safe space for all people to have conversations about the impact of social justice issues.

Jasper Kinney, Assistant Director, University of Washington

Jasper Kinnay is an Associate Director at University of Washington Foster Consulting and Business Development Center. He services as The Center’s liaison to key partners, fostering and strengthening strategic partnerships to further The Center’s mission. In his role, Jasper’s mission is to increase small business owners’ growth through Ascend, expend experiential learning of students through real-world business projects, and advance the careers of underrepresented faculties through the Fostering Inclusion Workshop. Similarly, he co-leads the Bradford-Osborne Research Award.

Bonita S. Moore, Business Manager, MIEC

Bonita S. Moore has over 15 years of experience in the field of contract management for small business and educational organizations. As Business Manager for the Morehouse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center, a historically black, private liberal arts institution for African American men, Ms. Moore handles all the day-to-day operational aspects of the center.

She has an outstanding record of accomplishment in program management, general accounting, procurement, meeting planning and management and customer service.

Ms. Moore holds a baccalaureate degree in marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia and provides astute knowledge in that field as well as business management.

Lorie has nearly two decades of experience in leading global sourcing and procurement teams, most recently as Chief Procurement Officer for Fiserv, a leading global technology provider in the financial services industry, where she focused on driving procurement innovation, insights and optimization for her organization—a role she held for three years.

Neil McDonnell brings 20+ years’ experience as a small business owner and federal contractor, personally winning and supporting numerous government contracts at the US Army, Navy and Air Force, HHS, VA, DOT, DOI, DOE, the Executive Office of the White House and numerous large and small prime contractors.

He currently serves as the Founder and President of the GovCon Chamber of Commerce, an organization dedicated to the success of small businesses nationally. Since 2018, he has hosted more than 400 'live' federal sales training events and over 400 'Set Aside' calls leading to more small business set-asides. His organization has trained tens of thousands of small business government contractors, helping them win well over $3B dollars in federal contracts.

Parker Bunton, IBM Procurement Team, IBM

Parker is a passionate Supply Chain professional who is always willing to drive and improve a process to ensure efficient business execution. Graduating from Michigan State University in 2020 to working in MRO commodity as a buyer and now a Operational Consultant for the Procurement department supporting Strategic Reporting, Payables, and Sub Contractor time claiming, Parker’s experience has become expansive and deep. Raised with a Black father who own’s his own business (Sports Performance Training Facility), Parker has learned the benefit of increased economic participation of historically disadvantaged groups and felt a real passion to be involved with the ASCEND program and more than happy to help in any way possible!

Peter Watkins IBM Procurement Team, IBM

Peter is a Category Manager and Procurement Lead managing multiple categories and tactical buyers. He has also held category manager roles specializing in eProcurement operations, Travel and Facilities category procurement with twenty-five years procurement and supply chain management experience. He has extensive expertise in category project management, tactical sourcing, procurement operations including e-catalog and contract management, and business process. His skills cover leading buying teams, negotiating contracts, sourcing, supplier relationships, and e-sourcing.

Kelly Watts, IBM Procurement Team, IBM

Kelly Watts is a seasoned procurement professional with a focus on IBM's global operations. As the Global Project Manager for Acquisitions and Divestitures, he integrates acquired company supply bases and oversees divestment activities. Additionally, Kelly served as the Global Procurement Policies and Practices Program Manager, ensuring compliance with guidelines and providing essential support to IBM procurement.

Dedicated to fostering diversity, Kelly served on IBM's Supplier Diversity team, ensuring opportunities for diverse-owned businesses. Academically, he holds honors from NYCCollege of Technology and a Business Finance degree from Marist College. Beyond work, Kelly is a devoted family man, active in his community as a Deacon and member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. He enjoys martial arts as a 2nd degree Black Belt holder and exploring new destinations through long road trips.

Lin Rowe is a lawyer by trade and an entrepreneur at heart. He currently serves as Senior Attorney, Transformation and Operations at IBM, supporting internal business functions such as CIO and Procurement. Before his tenure at IBM, Lin made significant contributions as the Chief Procurement Counsel for Slalom Consulting and Senior Procurement Counsel for Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson Technologies, Inc.). He is a proud alumnus of Vanderbilt University and the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Juris Doctor, respectively. Lin resides in Atlanta, GA, with his lovely wife Erin and their two beautiful children, Lennox (4) and London (1).

Lisa King, Federal Small Business Liaison Officer, IBM

Lisa King is the Small Business Liaison Officer (SBLO) and Federal Small Business Program Manager for IBM Global Supplier Diversity, Finance and Operations. Mrs. King is also the Administrator of IBM’s Federal Small Business Subcontracting Program, directly supporting IBMs adherence with Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19, and Federal Code of Regulation requirements for equitable inclusion of small and diverse businesses in IBM’s contract opportunities. She has more than 25 years of federal, state, municipal, and commercial competitive acquisition, and program management experience. She is a subject matter expert on acquisition compliance, a small business consultant, and a fierce advocate for the equity and inclusion of diverse small business.

Jeffrey Dickert, Associate Partner/ IBM Consultant

Mr. Dickert is an Associate Partner with IBM Consulting and Business Development Leader for consulting services for the State of New York’s state and local government entities outside New York City. With over 25 years of experience selling and delivering IT and management consulting professional services to state and local governments, he has extensive experience with disadvantaged business sales and teaming, both as a prime contractor with global firms like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, CGI, DXC and Oracle Consulting, but also as executive leader in both minority and women-owned business enterprises of whom focused on public sector sales and scaled significantly in size during those periods. Mr. Dickert frequently served as a disadvantaged business resource or mentor in coordination with the State of New York, which has one of the most progressive and successful minority and women-owned enterprise programs in the nation.

Laura Sucre, DOD Mentor Protégé’ Manager, IBM

Ms. Sucre has over 18 years of experience with the Federal Market Place. Currently, she is a Senior Business Consultant at IBM Public Sector. She leads the IBM DoD Mentor Protégé program and supports go-to-market strategies with small businesses.

Under her leadership, IBM has won the prestigious Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award two years in a row (2009-2010), and the DHS Mentor-Protégé Team of the year award (2009). IBM has won ve DoD-MPP Nunn Perry Award for its outstanding mentoring work.

Wes Knight, CISO/Director - Government Sector, Needling Consulting

For over 4 decades, Wes has been building a successful career in Information Security. He is an awardwinning professional and sought-after speaker. Wes was recruited by IBM in 1979 and based in Atlanta where he spent many years with the Fortune 50 legend. In 1996, Wes began his entrepreneurial journey by providing consulting and training services to Network Security clientele.

Wes was given an outstanding opportunity to work with Georgia’s Department of Revenue (DOR) in 2008. Throughout his tenure, he has fulfilled many roles. Before his retirement in 2020, Wes was the Chief Information Security Officer and managed the DOR Office of Information Security. Following his retirement from the State, Wes accepted a position as the Chief Information Security Officer and the Director for the Government Sector with Needling Worldwide, LLC. There he manages and conducts CMMC and NIST-based audits and assessments as well as vCISO services.

Eric Elewokor is a talented and driven solutions architect with over 15 years of experience providing systems design, implementation, and support services for over 50 customers (including Fortune 500 companies) across 4 continents.

Eric founded Voltican Inc. in 2017, a company which focuses on delivering value in the areas of data architecture / analytics and application solutions involving AI/ML (RPA, workflow automation, etc.).

Nathu Dandora, CEO, CompComp

Nathu is currently President and CEO of three manufacturing companies engaged in contract manufacturing of engineered products including manufacturing of medical devices. He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from Temple University. Nathu hails from India and he has been in the USA since 1972. Earlier career in his career he was a Plant Manager of a Bicycle Manufacturing Company and Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing for a packaging container manufacturing company. In 1985 he made his first acquisition of a contract manufacturing company in Philadelphia.: Computer Components Corporation. In 1986 he was successful in becoming a supplier to IBM Endicott. In 1988, he acquired second manufacturing company, Ray Machine Inc. Located in Baltimore, Ray Machine became a Supplier to IBM in 1989. In 2000 he launched a company, Custom Chill Inc. for manufacturing Thermo Electric Chillers.

He is experienced in turnaround and building strong and profitable companies. He has consistently achieved this by building strong management teams, building customer relations, and creating unique incentive plans for all employees. Since 1991 Nathu has also
