Albany Community Carnival & Great Platypus Drop - May
The Albany Community Carnival is a free, family-friendly event that brings our community together in support of two local nonprofits: our YMCA and the Albany Area Habitat for Humanity. Featuring games, activities, entertainment, and the Great Platypus Drop, the carnival provides fun for all ages while raising funds to strengthen programs and services that benefit families throughout our community.

Ken Davis Golf Classic - July
The Ken Davis Golf Classic is our golf tournament benefiting the Mid-Willamette Family YMCA. This annual 4person team scramble brings together local businesses, community leaders, and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition, connection, and philanthropy. Proceeds from the event support YMCA programs and services, ensuring we can continue strengthening youth, families, and our community.

Summer Y Games - August
During the Summer Y Games, local adult and youth teams compete in an all-day event similar to a decathlon. There are 8-10 stations across our entire campus that include physical and mental challenges. Teams earn points along the way and compete for fun prizes. The total number of participants and spectators for the event is approximately 350+.

Winter Gala - November
This is the YMCA’s Annual Fundraising Evening: 200 guests+ including top donors, partners, and tri-county community leaders. Our Winter Gala includes a social hour, dinner, drinks, and a paddle raise. The funds support our annual community scholarship fund, which provides more than $500,000 in support each year to help children, families, and community members access YMCA sports, childcare, and services and programs.

SUMMER DAY CAMP SPONSORSHIP

A sponsor for this 10-week program helps us cover t-shirts, supplies, guest speakers, and events along with supporting students that come into the program on a scholarship. Donors are recognized in all marketing for the program as well as social media posts during the summer.
LEARN TO SWIM WEEK SPONSORSHIP

In support of drowning prevention, Learn to Swim week provides free lessons to 250 swimmerswithlittletonoexperienceinthewater.
This program helps children from across the Willamette Valley establish good routines around water and develop beginner swim skills to safely exit water in the case of an emergency. The program runs the last week in June each year. Donors are recognized in all marketing for the program along with a banner in the pool that hangs for a full year.
