Family Fun Day Eggstravaganza at Mt. View Park by Lucia Flores El Monte
The sun peeked out from the clouds, as the morning dew disappeared and families began to arrive at Mt. View Park, host to the 4th Annual Healthy Eggstravaganza Family Fun Day. Presented by the El Monte Parks, Recreation and Community Services Depart-
ment, the March 19th event proved to be a treat for the many families in attendance. There was an abundance of activities for children to engage in, including the Petting Zoo, as the kids were able to see a real-life bunny, along with goats, pigs, ducks, and chickens. Break-

Cloverly Students Giving Back at Ronald McDonald House by Lynne Burkardt Temple City
Cloverly Elementary School’s Student Council has been actively finding ways to give back to the community. Students recently donated money and purchased an Italian dinner for the 24 family members that are currently residing at the Ronald McDonald House in Pasadena. The Ronald Mc Donald House
provides a home away from home for families that have children facing serious medical crises. Families are offered meals and a place to live close to the hospital.
