A magazine was created as a campaign material for the College of Fine Arts, University of Northern Philippines. It encourages the readers to dive deep into the inner workings of the College, its history, faculty and the students, its life and blood.

Its cover depicts an artist dripped with paint whose head is tilted upwards showing his willingness to be painted on, his willingness to embrace an artist’s life.

The dripped paint theme was carried out althroughout the magazine.

The project involved evaluating the existing packaging design of Papa Banana Ketchup, redesigning the logo and the packaging label to organize the layout of the elements on the label and making the product look more tasteful and appealing too to young adults and adults alike.

For a brand that is marketed for kids and health-conscious moms, the Nutrition Facts is

almost indistinguishable and so a better layout for this element is to be made. The logo needs emphasis as well The new logo design mimics letters neatly written in ketchup. Spaces between the front and back elements of the packaging design were made in such a way that only the front elements, the logo design, can be seen on the front view alone. Fewer colors and a flat design was used to give it a more modern and clean feel. The new layout now gives emphasis on the nutrition facts. An over-all look of minimalism was achieved.

Guiltea Milktea place is a newly opened business and it still lacked essential design elements in its establishment itself. It did not have a logo design.

Four poster designs were made plus a logo design for Guiltea Cravings Milktea. The posters are intended to be hung in the business establishment itself and shall serve as decorations for the business. Bright colors were used to give a sense of being hip and modern.

To reachout to the target audience of the business which are the youth of Metro Vigan, elements such as Facebook Banners, Profile Photos and Instagram Posts were also made since the youth is now fond of social media.

College of Fine Arts Brochure 8 Ă&#x2014; 14 inches (UNFOLDED) December 2013 Paper Manipulation, Graphic Design, Layout

The aim was to create a monochromatic design with pops of color showing through. Two types of paper were used, a colored copy paper and a brown board.

A play of text styles, monochromatic images, lines and shapes were used to unify the whole look and feel of the brochure.

Made to resemble a film clapper, this resumé holder reflects the goal or job prospect of the artist. It has movable parts, same as with a real film clapper.

The resumé write-up is tucked inside the clapper.
